New Grower First Autoflower grow and first time DWC - HELP PLEASE!

-- Update -- Day 50

Both plants had a res change today and their ppms were set to around 900. I didn't add the pk 13/14 again coz I'm unsure whether it's too early for it yet or not? Could someone shed some light on this please?

The plants have got even bigger and grew too close to the light and the power flower suffered from some heat stress I think co some if the flowering points went brown and crisp and some top leaves died off, went yellow or we're half brown. (If I'm wrong about this please correct me)

The plants have been removed from the tent coz they have outgrew it and the cupboard is now occupied by just the Think Different as it needed tying up in a lot of places coz it couldnt stay upright. The power flower will be being put into a new tent (80x80x160) but im waiting for that to arrive still so for now its half in, half out the cupboard :/

Anyways here's some pics and I'm going to try get some better close ups soon with a friends camera. Enjoy!

When it rains it pours haha! Congrats on your garden looks fantastic! Sorry to hear about the burning but in the long run you will still end up with a fantastic harvest :)

Hey guys, thanks for all the praise :)

Just a quick but important question here.. both girls have been on flowering nutrients for the same amount of time now but only the power flower has progressed into flowering properly. What i mean by this is the think different doesn't even have white hairs on it anywhere any more ,(it did when it showed it's sex), but more importantly it hasn't even began forming buds at the flowering points. It just keeps growing! It's still drinking the water and nutrients but nothing flower related is really happening in my eyes?

My problem is that i need the plants to be ready to be chopped by the 30th June but i'm really worried that the think different isn't going to be finished and so i was thinking about chopping her down and then focusing all i have on the Power Flower, also i'd be able to use both the HID and LED lights for the power flower and so get a broader light spectrum.

Anyways i'm just looking for some advice on what to do and would really appreciate if some of you guys could throw some advice my way :)

If you absolutely need to have everything done by June 30 I can say that there probably is no way the Think Different will flower out before the end of the month, especially if she isn't showing any signs of flowering now. It's painful but if I were in your shoes I would chop her, or give her to a friend. Can't really plant her outdoors since she is acclimated to hydro but you could try if you have a safe spot, at least give her a fighting chance haha!

-- Update -- Day 57

Wassup! Good news and bad news today!

Bad News is that the Think Different was removed from the grow yesterday (3, 2, 1.. awwwwww), but it had to be done and i don't know anybody i could of gave the plant to which is a shame because she could of produced some nice goods and a lot of it!

Few Pics of the Think Diff:

Good news is that my Canna Boost arrived yesterday and so that was added into the res today for the Power Flower (could of done with it about 2 weeks a go but hey ho). Also both the HID and the LED lights are up a running so hopefully this will benefit her more.

PPM was set between 900 and 950
PH is at 5.8 - 6.0

Trichomes are slowly building up, i have some better photos of the girl on a friends camera but i dont have the lead to upload the pics at the moment so i'll put them up ASAP.

That thing is a tree! What a shame....:(

She was a beautiful plant but in the end if it wasn't going to mature in time and was hogging the light from the other one than that is what you had to do :( Also you were having problems managing it in that small of a space and it would have only got bigger when it started to flower! Hope you get a great reward for your surviving plant!!!!

I've said it before and I will say it again, DWC produces plants that are WAY larger than their soil grown siblings! Many people think this is a no-brainer positive but these beasts can quickly get out of hand:no:

Hi BigMac, I've been too busy so I haven't check in for some time. Sorry to hear about the TD plant, she was a beauty, I wish I lived near you I would have took her, *damn* On the good note, I'm glad to see you have everything dialed in and your plants look nice. I also ran into a height problem with my Vertigo autos, I have 6 foot high grow room and one of the plants grew 6 1/2 feet (well minus the height of the bucket) so I had to rely on just side lighting. My 4 Vertigo's produced 4 oz total, after drying and cured, it's also a kickass smoke and I would recommended it auto growers but watch the height.

Nben, I agree, DWC plants do get large, I now have 4 Snowryders growing ( 60 days from seed ) and the average height is around 39 inches. I also started an Ultraviolet Auto, 20 days from seed and only 4" high. It may be a bad seed but it was a freebie.

Hey everyone, sorry i haven't updated yet but i've been enjoying some lovely weather accompanied by some lovely hash and lemon haze!

Just a quick update today, realised i have just over 2 weeks left for the plant to be done so i've began flushing her. Don't really have a choice but ohh well! She's still smelling and looking good!

Pictures were taken on Monday. Enjoy!
