Grow Mediums First DWC..question

Just 3 gallon of water and that

Lights are cfl. I have 10 26watt
Pump is ecoplus 4..15 lpm I believe

Still having yellowing and what was yellow is dying off brown. Also having a couple brown spots on fan leaves. Calcium deficiency?

Hi ,what else went into your res apart from tiger bloom & calmag mate ?

can we get a pic of the whole plant for reference ?

did the PPM go up or drop the last couple of days after a res change ?

if you have noticed spots since last res change ,it could well be cal mag deff....but cant be sure without a photo's :Sharing One:

Also if you could say what the nutrient strength of your feed / reservour is in EC that would be better.

As PPM can differ depending on what continent you are on and what kind of meter you are using. Where as EC is a standardised measurement.

Really only affecting the top bud so far.

So just checked the numbers. Ph had risen to 6.4 since I changed the water. PPM was around 1100. Up from when I changed the water last. It looked like a gallon or more of water had been taken up. I ph'd it back to 5.8. temp was 24.7 c

By saying it had risen I mean I changed the res Thursday. 3 gallons of water with the 40ml tiger bloom and 20 ml cal mag. Ph was 5.8 and ppm around 800. I check everything today and the numbers had risen

Sorry if I seem first grade level on all these questions. Just trying to get ahead of the problem before it gets any worse.
This is my 5th plant overall and first hydro. Saw some of these problems in my first soil grows too.

your feed & res temps are to high .... drop PPM to 700 & monitor ...if it still goes up after that ,lower by 100PPM & check again ect , until it stays stable .

try to lower res temps by putting the pump somewhere colder & covering the buckets with mylar .. 24.5oC is in the danger zone ...18-22oC is a lot safer

check for any light leaks maybe ? PH should drop as PPM go up & thats a clear indication of overfeeding (could be caused by high temps though or other environmental issues ?)

still can't help with your nute schedule as I still got no idea whats in the res ?

good luck :Sharing One:
