New Grower First grow Auto White Widow

Just an update with a few pics. The 3 biggest AWW are one month old today and the smaller ones are about 18 days. I cant remember how old the BAM is but I would say about 3 weeks. It really only started to come to life in the last week or so.

There are some burn spots on one of the AWW. It's on two of the leaves but doesn't seem to be spreading for now. Would this be the result of the excess nitrogen? The young leaves look a little yellow at the tips also. They got a watering with just a little molasses added at the weekend. I'll probably use plain ph'd water this time and start feeding nutes at 1/4 strength next week.

I checked on the girls this morning and found some kind of insect crawling around on the canopy. Any idea what it is or if I should be worried about it? I tried to remove it but it fell and now I cant find it :Stones slap:

Some kind of Weevil maybe?

My tent is starting to fill up with all this new growth from the younger plants! I gave the older girls a dose of nutes at quarter strength today after getting nearly two weeks without any due to the N problem I had. The affected leaves seem to permanently damaged as the haven't really recovered. I also added some molasses and a teaspoon of epsom salts. Hopefully that will get them moving again as growth seems to have slowed down over the last day or two. As they are starting to flower should I switch to bloom nutes soon? I think they are 37 days old now.

I haven't given anything to the younger plants yet except molasses, epsom salts and Bio Worm, which is worm casting extract. I might give them a low dose of nutes tomorrow. 1/8 and see how they like it. It only took one 1/4 dose and one 1/2 dose to screw up the older plants with too much N.

I also added a pic of the insect I found at the weekend. It had a nice nibble on some of the younger leaves before I found it. I think it might be a Vine Weevil but I can't find much info on them. Anyone here see one before? I hope it hasn't left grubs in my soil!

The lights were on in the pics so everything looks yellow. Sorry about that!

How important is humidity? The humidity in my house is usually around 80% and I don't have mould or fungus growing anywhere! The RH in my tent is usually something similar but I hate using my dehumidifier because the humming noise from the pump is easily heard outside the room and hard to cover up. I can mask the sound of the fans by leaving my laptop running next to the door but the dehumidifier is pretty obvious. I've ordered acoustic foam tiles to try muffle the noise but I doubt it will work. Am i almost certain to have problems in flowering at 80% humidity or is there just a minute chance? Also will the plants transpire more or less in flowering? I need to come up with a solution quick as 3 of the 7 are now in flower!

If you can,t use the dehumidifier than the only thing is to make sure you have lots of air movement.

Thanks for the reply namvet25. I bought a 12" oscillating fan yesterday that gets the leaves moving in the whole tent and i also have a 6" clip-on that i might use to direct air underneath the canopy. The in-line fan sucks in the sides of my tent, even though I've two inlet ducts, so the air inside should be kept fairly fresh. Hopefully the foam will muffle the noise of the dehumidifier enough but it's nice to know I may get away with high humidity if all the other environmental conditions are good :High 5:

I haven't posted any pics here for a while as I've been dealing with all sorts of problems! Most of the leaves on the flowering AWW turned yellow and died. I thought it might have been a mag deficiency as my run-off pH was a bit low but my pH meter broke this week and I think it may have been giving false readings. My run-off is now actually too high so I'm trying to get it back down. The younger plants are starting to flower now but are a lot smaller than the first 3 to go into flower. I have the pots raised up so that they are all at the same canopy level. The 3rd pic is of the BAM i am growing and it seems to be doing OK, although it didn't get very tall either.

The girls got hit bad by the high pH. I think the high levels of lime in my tap water added to the problem but a new meter and using only rain water has helped a lot. Most of the leaves died and dried up so I'm sure yield and quality is going to suffer! One bounced back pretty good though and looks like it has good bud. I've been checking the trichomes and they still haven't turned amber despite all the leaves drying up. It is at 80 days now so should I wait a bit longer? I've added a pic below.

The other pic is the BAM. It wasn't affected by the pH problem as bad as the others but it has developed another deficiency. There is brown patches on the sugar leaves and they are turning yellow. She's at about day 70 I would say. The pic is a bit blurry but you can still see what's happening. What could be causing it? I'm going to flush tomorrow and see if it helps.

From what I read not all autos show amber.

If it was me I would cut from both, dry it over nite, try it, and make the call.
80 days should be close. Can we get a closer photo of both?
