New Grower First Grow- Autobubble

Seem to have what I thinkis a cal/mag deficiency going on.. I'll order some today but it wont be delivered until next week.. how serious is a cal/mag deficiency? Theres a few rusty spots on leaves, mainly near the bottom of the plants and very lightly advancing up. A few lower fan leaves are yellowing but I guessed that was normal from them not get enough light. Sorry I dont have photos, ill try to get some later, but quite easy to describe... rusty spots.

If this is cal/mag deficiency, is there anything I can do to help while im waiting for the delivery?

:Sharing One:

Hit em with some Molasses and epsom salt!! Organic cal/mag!!

Looking awesome in there bro!

Be careful of those yellowing leaves at the bottom, could indicate she is a bit hungry and in need of some N, just my opinion though and looking stellar overall!

Dazed..

JAYAR'S girl gave up a nice sized glob of it in his last grow! I still search my plants everyday, hoping and praying I strike liquid gold!

Aha! Spot on guys, thank you so much! Molasses and epsom salts will be much easier to get, I should be able to pick some up later. Now they're on week 7 I've dropped their biogrow intake to 1ml/l and 3ml/l bloom nutes. Would you reccoment upping the grow slightly their next feed? Throw in another 0.5-1ml/l?

And dazed, I've seen those syrupy little orbs of nectar you got going on, I can only hope to be as lucky!

Thanks for the stellar help guys, and happy friday!

Loving the avatar pic! Nothing like some good soup!

Lower Leaves at the bottom yellowing off and dying is normal. As the plant gets bigger some of lower parts of the plant become more shaded and die due to lack of light. Cal/mg is a serious enough deficiency if you dont get on top of it fast enough. As Molasses and epsom salts are a more organic method of administrating calcium and magnesium, it is going to take time before you see a difference. Id honestly say to keep using them at every feed for the rest of your grow to keep away the deff. Looking great by the way man.

Got what I need! Thanks for your help guys. Grim, I was planning to add them to water for the rest of the grow. I was going to put 1 tsp/l of molasses in each feed from now on, but im getting a lot of conflicting info about epsom salt, some people say 1-2 tsp per litre, all the way up to a couple of tablespoons! Obviously I want to avoid any build ups so how much do you recommend if im using with every feed? They get 2l each about every 3 days atm if that helps.

Thanks for all the encouragement, hope you guys all have a killer weekend! We have an air show going on here so its super loud!

Peace & love

I'd like to know about the Epsom salt, too, because I plan on using it next grow, and I've heard different amounts recommended.

I'm not sure about others, but I have been adding 1 tsp per litre of Molasses and literally a little shake of Epsom Salts each time, I'd guess around 1/5 teaspoon? Some people give larger doses once a week, I prefer a little bit each time. I've not had any problems with cal/mag doing this, although I add lime to my mix and that provides calcium and magnesium also (whilst keeping the pH in check)I use 6ltr pots.
