So..... what do you guys think about a scrog screen like this:

I was googling scrogs (that sounds a bit dirty haha!) And came across this from a grower on another forum. Thin bamboo lashed together, then some slipknots from paracord to hang it, making it adjustable. The rounded surface of the bamboo is also very friendly toyour plants. Anyone have any experience in this area? Or a friend of a friend? I like its style, i think I'm going to build one unless anyones had any horror stories!

Looks good to me! Simple, cheap, and green! Wish I had went that route.

Just bought everthing i need; bamboo poles, natural string and some parachute cord. It will take a while to build as it all have to be lashed together, with space for my tower fan to fit in (i was going to ditch it but its so good at getting air above and below the canopy) but i find stuff like that fun and i get a little kick out of using stuff i have built myself.

I'll post pictures :niceshot:

DAY 50 - WEEK 8

Hey guys, in the mood for an update as i had the plants out quick to leaf-tuck and remove any dead stuff. Buds are really starting to fill up now, was hoping to delay my first spliff until this evening but after smelling them, i just had to roll one! Cant wait until its my own homegrown imsmoking though! Ah, just a few more weeks! Temperatures are all good, in the unexpect heat yesterday it got t almost 30, but i think its not too much to worry about at this stage. (Please tell me if i am wrong!) Most of the yellow stuff has fallen off now and the new yllowing seems to have slowed down so looks like upping the N is working. Sorry a couple of pics are sideways, i thought if i took them portrait they would rotate themselves, but never mind lol.

Plant 1
she's an absolute beast, some of her buds are almost the size of coke cas ans she's showing no signs of slowing down! She lost a lot of her lowe leave due to the yellowing but at least now shes getting more light to her. I tucked a few of her leaves too, so she's getting plenty down there now. Im not sure howmuch longer she will run for, but i can't imagine it will be too mch longer. Brown paper bags and chop/trim toos should arrive today so im ready for it!

Plant 2
Starting too bud up lovely, im going to have to be super carefull moving her when she puts on a bit more weight, dont want to snap any necks!
A little yellowing so i have upped her N too. Still the least developed but could be a dark horse in this grow!

Plant 3

She is quickly becoming my favourite. Short and bushy with beautifull well formed buds and stacking that weight on fast! She has a really even canpy and more flower sites than the others. Who would have thought that this ugly, ugly little ducklng could turn into something so beautiful! Hardly any yellowing on her, she is super healthy and after a leaf tucking session she should have plent of light on her.

And heres another line up. I love these ones, i have an album of them on my phone i can flick through and see the progress

So there we have it! Hoping i can just hold it all together for the next couple of weeks. Looking forward to building my scrog net, researching how to lash bamboo atm, its going to take a lot of string, end up looking like a raft you would make to escape a desert island. At least thats what I'll say it is if anyone sees it! Thanks to everyone for stopping by and like always, any advice or info is hugely appreciated.

Peace & love
