12" is the norm, but I've read in a few places, it's good to start autos at 8" since the veg time can't be controlled. BUT, having such a low screen can make it a bit more difficult to get under there. I don't really think time is a factor, it's about the height. At least that's the conclusion I come to after reading the reading I've done.

hey guys, i have just chopped a NL auto leaving all the popcorn on. I was thinking give it a week to mature? will this work? as it stands there is minimal thc on them! or shall i just chop it aswell. Cheers
Hey dude, I am probably going to take her top off because she's a bit taller than the others so her bottom got hardly any light.. the other two im just going to take in one go because the yellowing has spread to all the buds.. this one is almost completely green below the colas.. they just dont look done yet if you know what I mean. As for the scrog, i havent had the pleasure yet. Its all ready to go as soon as these last two are done though. I have done a bit of research and my scrog will be about 7" above the soil for an auto, and scrog it as soon as it reaches the frame and continue until about the 2nd week of flowering. Hope that helps brother!

I always try to use my popcorn for BHO and coconut oil. My last run of photo Purple Kush, I jarred a few onces of the popcorn and cured it. Now I don't want to use it for edibles because is is so stun gun potent after the curing! Cannabis World Problems.... lolol

"Tane", I think he's referring to Butane, used to make dabs and/or blow up your home lol. Way off topic, reminded myself of a hilarious story: I was getting some take out one day recently and these ladies behind me were talking and you could just tell they were really stupid and come from a long line of people at the bottom of the gene pool lol... , one was all sad, saying how her nephew or something just died. She then said that the guy was working on the kitchen, and had taken a power saw to the gas line to the oven to cut it off and move the oven... Well, metal gas line, power saw, you know what happened. He blew himself through the roof and blew up the house totally destroying it movie style lol. Well right when she said "power saw to the gas line" I started laughing my friggin butt off lol! Yeah I got some bad looks but kept laughing for hours later lol.

I always make some oil with my trim...tried making shatter last round as my buddy has all the toys..it turned out pretty decent. Nice and amber and clear..would def try again! I used to make bubble hash...its just a lot of bent over the tub labor! But all my boys have been bugging me to make some! Soo who knows..maybe imma go old school this round!

Aahhh butane! Yes I know it. I am keeping all my trim (and any popcorn not worth trimming) in my freezer... no idea what do do with it though. I have no idea about extraction techniques but I would love to make some oils/salves for grandparents and friends etc, and id love to make some hash also. Will it be okay stored in my freezer? Im hoping after another grow or two ill have a nice amount to do something with. Does anyone have any reccomended links or advice?
