New Grower First Grow(Balcony/Window). Auto Diesel Berry grow journal.

Hi guys and girls, this is going to be my first grow and i am so excited. I had a thread on the introduction area where i enquired about a few certain things that i'm unsure of but now i can move on with a little confident. Hopefully my plant will live all the way till harvest without any problems.

I just placed the seed into a glass of water and hopefully by tomorrow, it will have it's first root sprouted. And also i am going to a nursery tomorrow to buy a 10L pot and J Arthur Bower's Multi-Purpose Compost with added John Innes (50 L) to grow in. So after the seed is germinated, i will place the seed into the compost and then evenly water the soil with 200ml of water. After 2-3 days, i will check the moisture and then water 200ml again. Do i have to buy additional vege nutes or blooming nutes if i were to grow it on my balcony/window ?

I am so excited for this and more updates will be coming !!

Quick update - When i checked today, the seed was sprouting a little and i was giving it one more day before planting. But when i came home afterwards my dad said he threw the cup of water away and he thought it was some bug inside the glass. I was quite pissed off since i have waited like almost 2 days for it to sprout and now it's just down the bin omg.. So now i'm left with 2 seeds and i'm gonna use the paper towel method and then putting it in my closet, hopefully it will sprout faster this way. I told him not to throw it away this time round though lol. More updates coming, cheers.

good luck with your first grow , im about four weeks into my first grow and its very exciting to see how fast they grow , they'll be safer in your closet where your dad cant get to them haha

The glass of water with the seed was in the closet and when i came home he threw em, well i was kinda pissed but i just cooldown and tell myself "patience". Anyway any advice if i should wet my soil before planting the seed or i can plant and then water it ?

Wet the soil before hand...then once there up I'd start misting them don't water them in case u drown them

Update - My seeds have germinated and i just filled up my pot with soil and watered them till it runs off. Now it's just chilling under the sun for a few hours. Do you think i should plant the seed tomorrow morning or i can plant at night later on ? Would my seed roots grow too long and stick to the paper towels ?

Okay so i just planted my seed. Do i have to give it a little water ? The soil is still moist from the pre planting flushing.
