And do not feed until you get ph info. No matter how many nutrients in your soil, they are not available to the plant.

If there is ph issue, of course, might be something else.

I spent almost all my budget on the setup and everything else and i don't have enough for a PH meter, i'm saving up for it. If the soil is acidic but my tap water's ph is 8, do you think it helps bringing it to neutral ? You are the first person telling me it's nutrient lock and the rest says the plant is hungry. Since i already bought the veg nute, should i feed it to see if it gets better ?

If you have anything bellow 6 in your soil, then your plant can not access specific, or all nutrients in the growing medium, this is due to a chemical reaction within the medium which prevents nutrients from being absorbed by the roots.

You do not need expensive meter at all, at least for the beginning, all you need to to is to go to drugstore and buy litmus paper. Was 12€ when I last bought it.

looking good bro. I see others helping out here. My opinion is that its slow growth is either overwatering, or its still recovering from the LST and then unLSTing. It takes a min for the plant to figure out that it needs to send its growth hormones back to the top of the plant. I would definitely leave it growing naturally at this point. You can add a small CFL using a clamp reflector to hit the bottom of the plant later if need be.

As others have said, you need to rule out a PH issue. Kits or lithmus paper are pretty cheap. I just bought 250 tests for about 5 bucks at the local pet store.

You can try raising the lights to help "stretch" the plant. But I'm growing an auto diesel right now and it is shorter and bushier than anything I've ever grown. I can barely find the main stem b/c of all the vegetation.

Keep it up bud. Cheers

Cheers man, your grow threads are much better than mine ! I don't think it's overwatering but what i pretty much thought is because of N deficiency or like what you said, it's recovering from LST. I'm still waiting for my thermo to come to measure the temperature and humidity before i consider buying more lights but what do you think of the heat produced by smaller CFLs with 40 watt and below? I'm also planning to look for kits or litmus paper but i have no idea where to find them. I have raised the lights and i guess the plant looks better and i'm pretty sure i'm seeing really small pistils and also hopefully the upcoming feeding will heal the plant and let it grow faster !!

I don't have any grow threads that I know of :D: You can find PH (along with PH up and down) kits most likely at any pet store in the fish/aquarium section. You should also find water purifier there if you are worried about chlorine or chloramines. If your water supply has chloramines, that's the only way to get rid of them b/c they don't evaporate like chlorine will. Just make sure to get purifier specifically for chloramines.

Opps i messed up, got the wrong person hehe. Okay i will look for those kits. Wait for my latest report when i feed my plant and you guys will get to see the difference in size when it's lacking nitrogen.

Day 30 Report

Okay so today is day 30 and she is looking real bad from the N deficiency but then i just fed it veg nutes today and hopefully it gets better.

How long does it take to recover from the deficiency ?

Here are the pictures before feeding and as you can see, there is no growth at all compared to the latest report and the difference shows that the plants look more paler now. My plant look really small and i'm feeling disappointed whether as i can even get a proper yield or would it even reach bloom stage :/
