Greetings! Made my intro elsewhere, here I will list all of what I have used to put this together. I am using half of a closet that has sliding doors. The space I am using is 24 X 42. I bought a 50 ft x 48 inch roll of reflective mylar off ebay. I put mylar on the walls as I could then I made 2 cardboard walls our of postal service priority mail boxes. I think they were flat rate large size. The boxes are unfolded with other more sturdy priority mail boxes slid inside those, stapled and taped so they wont come apart, each wall is about 5 feet tall and 24 inches wide. Then I covered them with mylar.. Now I have a side wall to separate from the rest of the closet and another wall to slide in front of the sliding door which I did not cover with mylar.
I purchased a few clamp style lights to put bulbs in. The main bulb I am using is: DUAL SPECTRUM LOTUS~2700K&6500K IN 1bulb <- Purchased on Ebay Then I used a 4 way adapter which is holding 4 small CFL bulbs, I believe 2 are 23W and 2 are 13W, then I put a 2 way adapter in another light which has 2 23W CFLs.. I am not exactly positive of these smaller bulb sizes but they seem to be doing the job all together.
I purchased 3 10 inch pots, a 25 pound bag of potting soil and a small fan that sits on the floor. I will be buying bigger pots for the next round. I also purchased a fox farm 3 packs of nutrients off ebay. Since I live in my parents basement I am attempting to keep the odor under control, its not that they cant already smell that I smoke weed, I just dont think they would appreciate the little grow. I researched a bit before finding some cool custom built carbon filters on ebay made by a lil company in SC, I went with a 6 incher and to tell you the truth its keeping the smell within the closet. it works well.
As for the seeds, I used Attitude seeds in the UK, took about a week after I ordered them to actually receive them. Not exactly sure why I chose the seeds I chose. I ordered 3 Auto Pounders and 3 Big Buddha SAS (super automatic sativa). This time I am using 2 of the pounder seeds and 1 of the SAS.
I guess thats good enuff for an intro, I'll post more later. I am on day 37. I need to add some more soil and maybe remove a dead yellow leave or 2 and I'll post up some new pics..
