This is my first grow so i went small on the setup... My tent is 4 feet wide 2 feet deep and 5 feet tall. I'm using a 400 watt light setup with a cool tube and carbon filter. I'm growing only 1 plant this first run in a 5 gallon roots organic grow bag. My plant of choice is Cream of the Crop's "Cash Crop". I was impressed with the strains profile so I decided to roll with it. I started out by soaking the seed in a glass of ph balanced water until it sank (less than 24 hrs), then I flushed my soil once and planted my seed. I then put my lights on 50% power and ran them 24/7 for the first week. The seed sprouted on day 2 and it's now day 10. Now my biggest concerns are my temp and humidity. My temp is usually around 79 f- 81 f and my humidity struggles to stay above 45%. I have read that i should be somewhere upwards towards 70% on humidity but that ain't happening. I keep a gallon of water in the tent with a 10 inch osculating fan blowing on the lowest speed and it only reaches high levels of 53%. Is my humidity levels ok? The seedling looks great and very green, I was just wondering with my humidity levels, was I stunting growth or stressing the plant at all?

Thanks in advance for reading and replying:dance2:

Hey welcome to the show man, this place is so helpful it's unbelievable! Your plant is coming along great! I just recently discovered the benefits of higher humidity during veg so I wanted to jump in and help. I had the same issues as you with low RH but didn't know it because I didn't have a meter. When I got one, I discovered my % was way down to like 30 sometimes. Young seedlings will thrive in higher humidity environments because they don't have the root system yet to pull moisture from the soil. When the RH is higher (60-70%) the plant can draw moisture from the air as well. That's it. I bought a humidifier from Wal Mart for 15 bucks and it did wonders. I just put it in front of a fan blowing air into the room and my RH numbers shot up. When they get bigger, like in a few weeks bigger, you won't need it anymore.

Smoke on :Sharing One:

Thanks Grateful Zach Appreciate that info, I will definitely grab a humidifier asap! And thanks for the warm welcome!!:tiphat:

Hi Bro, just found the thread! :)

Your plant is looking awesome mate, CC seems to like bushing out before growing upwards but then it really goes up with a vengeance! Mines about 4' now so get ready for it lol.

Thanks for the encouragement Bilbo:thumbs:.... Its weeks later from my initial post and you were very correct she jumped up impressively at over 32 inches at day 44.
