New Grower First Grow: Dinafem White Widow Auto

Awesome first grow Untamed. You got this down, my advice to anyone who hasn't is to get a soil pH meter. Run-off just isn't that accurate, and if you're on the cusp, you could run into problems. That being said, your plants look very healthy and happy!!

Can't wait to see how they finish up!

Thank you Dazed!!! Do you have any recommendations on a soil pH meter? I have one but its a crappy 5 dollar one from lowes that has a moisture, light, and pH meter. I dont know how accurate it is. Im also still undecided on soil for my next grow, I'm not super happy with FFOF because pH was a pain at the beginning im guessing the bag i got was in the low 5s on pH.

i dont ever check my PH mate i just make sure its 6.5 at the top every time and i have checked it on the first grow i did and it was 6.6 and i was using bio-buzz all mix. :pass:

Just did some reading on the bio-bizz all mix, looks great might have to look into that for next grow

Checking on my plants today I noticed that almost all the leave tips are yellowing and turning down. I'll post pictures to show. The pictures arent that great but you get the idea.

I have a few ideas of what it might be:

It has been hot, could it be heat stress? but it only got to 90 once and that was only for about an hour. Other than that heat has been in check

I have an air cooled hood so i have my plants about 5 inches from light is that too close? Its not hot to my hand so im guessing not.

And last i havent started feeding flowering nutes yet. I was gonna start tomorrow. So is it a potassium deficiency?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks guys

All mix is too hot for autos, have a look at the light mix mate. Or get both and layer them.
Your girls look as tho they're suffering from a touch of nute burn.
Other than that, looking nice man :)

Thank You Dazed and GMan. I've learned more in a week than the entire rest of the grow lol. i just noticed that the cal/mag that i got is 2-0-0 so that plus the other nute i was using prolly did it.

So instead of starting flowering nutes tomorrow, Should I just flush with plain pH'd water?

You don't need to flush brother, a little burn like that is ok, just telling you to back off a bit. They look great keep doing what you're doing, just let them be for a day or so then start your bloom nutes at 1/4 strength or similar-introduce them slowly and try read the plant.
