Hey fellow Canuck. I have had a battle going on for years with slugs and snails. I grow in non woven bags now. I put a piece of green tarp underneath my grow bag I encircle the whole bag with slug and snail bait. I make sure thier is no plants hanging over or nere my plants they will use those plants to get at the girls I also put some bait around the stem too. Canadian tire sells a couple of different baits non toxic too . I have had no snails at all bothering my plants. PEACE

My plants are beginning to pre-flower. I live on Vancouver Island and slugs have been a nuisance.
