New Grower First Grow - Iranian Autoflower (fem) in hydro

Sounds nice bro you should put up some pics iwant to see those jems

It's embarrassing...my mature plants are looking NASTY and I can't really figure out why. I'm giving them until tomorrow morning to look better then I'm posting pics and asking for advice. The PH in the JEM pot is just fine, no bug damage, feeding FULL STRENGTH nutes (which includes calmag) but the leaves are yellowing and spotting/crisping (not like nute burn, this is weird, almost like calmag deficiency but not quite).

The PAK is starting to show signs of spotting as well and all she's had is PH 6.5 water and was put directly into properly PH'ed Sunshine Mix #4...The closest plant to any light source is at about 15" and that's the PJEM which is flowering. The others are all 18" or more and are still spotting (and it's just a 240w light for 4 plants, it's not like I'm annihilating the things with some crazy 1000w HPS).

Pretty confused...I'll see if there's some course correction tomorrow morning and if not I'll post up some pics.

The PJEM in the rooter went into the gen hydro waterfarm tonight. Basically 1/4 strength nutes across the board + floralicious plus + cal/mag. All of that went into bottled spring water which was buffered to a zesty 5.79 pH. My only concern is that the drip system isn't really wetting her at all and her tap root wasn't enough to reach the water...I have the pump running wide open right now, I'm going to let it circ for an hour or two and re-check to make sure it's not overly dried out.

I had one of my IAF in a little container with some crappy home-depot soil just for fun to see if it would make it. I figured since it's not dead after like 6 weeks, I might as well reward her with a transplant into some Sunshine mix, so we'll see if she pulls through. She's the one in the two pictures where you can see the clay pot. I'm going to try to keep the IAFs in veg through the finishing of the last auto that I have right now, then flip my whole setup to 12/12 and see what happens. I'll either end up with an Iranian forest of bud or a couple of really pissed off little indicas.

Also included below are pictures of my PJEM and her undiagnosed deficiencies. Note the purple stem in the first picture of the JEM...Any thoughts? pH in was 6.5, pH out was 6.7 last Saturday when I gave her nutes. Room temp is in the low 70's, dual circ fans blowing on her, she's got the door open so she's getting good circulation, 240w Blackstar LED is about 14" above her top bud. I just can't figure out why she's unhappy...

I think some color in the stems is genetic on the Jems. But if your pH in is 6.5 and out is 6.7, that indicates that your pH is still too high. The actual soil pH is probably closer to 7 and likely causing a lock out.

Based on the faded leaves, what do you think the deficiency is? I'm just curious, I'm not going to add anything...if it's pH then I know what to fix, but I'm just curious what the plant is missing that might be causing this.

It may not be a deficiency. If the pH is high it could be locking out the plants ability to uptake those nutrients.

what up fleeaS ....ID MAYBE say that one has a nitrogen overload ...the cat claw curling is a sign cause i did that to a plant over fertilzing it before and will make them that yellow color...another thing is a cal/mag deficiency .......i just started on some berry ryder and sour diesel as well ......LOVE that berry ryder its my favorite buzz

What do you like so much about the Berry Ryder buzz?

What would you recommend in this case...the soil was prepared with some dolomite lime layered in, so it's my understanding it will tend towards neutral as the lime dissolves. Should I buffer the water down to something in the 6.0-6.2 range to try to adjust? Maybe a little sulfur?
