Who, what, why and where
No problems mate was there myself 18 months ago the first grow is the one you worry about the most I doubt you will use the whole 5 ltrs just water slowly till some comes out the bottom of your pots also one of the benefits of coco when they get there roots established around 2 to 3 weeks it's very hard to drown them it is a lot to take in read the stickies at the top of the coco section some very handy hints there good luck with the rest of your grow there's a lot of help on this site [emoji106]Cheers for all that mate, massively appreciated! I think I'll give them a little water tonight as I've got a little bit left over, but I only filled my jugs back up an hour ago or so, so I'll leave them until tomorrow evening, mix in that stuff & give it a shot! As I said, I did look at the little guide you get with the nutes, but I couldn't make head nor tail of it! Do you think I should use the whole 5 ltrs over the two plants tomorrow, or would that be a bit too much? I think I gave them a little too much water at the start & almost drowned them, so I've tried to avoid that again haha!
I know I've made a lot of mistakes with this grow, & looking around the site & reading what other people are saying still massively confuses me a lot of the time, but I definitely feel like I'm learning a lot, & I guess that's something to take away from your 1st grow.. It's literally my first time growing anything at all, let alone cannabis!![]()

Also a good way to know when to water is pick up your pot when it's dry feel the weight then water and feel the weight again it's a good way of knowing when to water
.... G'- one of the beautiful things about coco is it breathes far better than most soils, so even when heavily watered, the risk if smothering the roots is lessened,... And nute those girls, new pics show a plant starving, several mixed defc. symptoms! (HPS light hides many things, so always shoot in normal light, for better diagnostics)... Coco can be simple, but there are definitely some basics to know, which the shop guy clearly didn't make clear...if you don't know or follow them, you get jammed up eventually; Wile mentioned one already: coco has nothing in it, so feeding needs to start almost right away,...Ca-Mg is a specific supplement used to provide extra necessary amounts of these nutrient elements, beyond what's in the base nute's,.. coco requires elevated Ca, and to a lesser degree, Mg,.. So, follow Wiles advise, he's got your nutes info to get started,... And get busy reading up in the coco section,... Talk to my man Bromeo, or any others there! Honestly, I haven't actually tried coco yet myself, but I'm having to learn anyway because of it's rising popularity, and the very common misunderstanding of it's differences from soil/other soilless media.... leading many to here for a hard-knocks lesson on all this!
