Thank you Briman. Can some please get back to me about adding a layer of Light mix to the all mix soil. The reason i ask is I'm worried that the all mix might cause more unneeded stress.

IMAG0221.jpgIMAG0222.jpgi just had an OhS**t moment. Lets just say that when i pulled the cup apart i was left with 2 halfs full of soil and only being held together by the roots. i managed to free her from the rest of the cup with out breaking the roots. I really hope this doesn't kill her or cause much damaged. Time will tell.

Hey brother,

Sorry I haven't been stopping in as much! In the future, feminized beans straight to the final pot is good, I usually take the cup I'd plant in first and make a mold in the soil with that cup then fill that with a seedling mix and drop the seed in.. This gives the initial roots some room to breathe.

She's looking really good and if very few / no roots broke during you transplant stress should be minimal. As you can see she's showing great signs of growth up until this point, if this trend starts to slow down or stop - you've stunted her a bit. Transplanting is an art normally, it's even more of an art with autos. I transplanted 4 last night and need to check on them to see if they're showing signs of stress.

Hey Broski
Welcome back. How is life treating ya?
You know that feeling were you think s**t and that awful feeling drops to the bottom of ya gut:help: with a little bit of panic. Well thats how i felt lol. In the future i will go straight to final pot. It would of bin impossible for me not to of caused a bit of damage but positive thoughts, she's gonna be just fine. I shall get a picture of her tomorrow for you all.

Right so its bin well over 24hours since i did my dodgey transfer and I'm happy to report back that she is showing signs of growth.
Day 11(or 10 not sure so lets call it 11).

Morning Ladies and Gents.
I have a question about how much water i should be feeding her now that she is in her final pot? I plan on adding nutes to the water. I only want to be mixing up enough water for 1 feed at a time as i don't have an air pump for stored water. I will be feeding tomorrow (day13) as the soil is rather dry atm.
Additional info
10Litre bucket
Day 12/13 from breaking the soil.
Nutrients= (BioBizz's)Bio-Grow/ Bio-Bloom /Top Max

All replies are greatly appreciated. Thank You.

Once ther in the final pot you need to water until you have water running out the bottom of the pot.I would only go half strentgh on the nutes when ther small and maybe up the dosage when they are five or six weeks old. After you water them a few times you should know aprox how much feed water they will take.

Thank you Namvet. I'm going to try 2litres of water mixed with 1ml of bb BioGrow to start with and then go from there. Sorry to sound retarded but should i be pouring the water just around the base of the stem or should i be covering the whole surface if that makes sense? lol

So it's day 13. I was going to give her a feed today with nutes for the 1 st time but i have a little concern i want to get sorted before i do.

^this pic is from last night the other 2 are from today. I'm not worried about the yellowing on the leafs but more about the brownish defect on the single leaf. its bin 4or5 days now since the transfer and i was wondering if it could be the All mix soil or could it of bin the ali tape focusing light on that leaf? I have now removed the ali tape just incase.
Should i make new thread on this in the infirmary?
Edit -also this lower leaf.

yes... when watering... water the whole pot htoroughly... try to get it so you get all the soil EQUALLY wet and you end up about 10% runoff... more is ok... but thats the target as you get accustomed.

dont "overwater" though ... and I mean... waitbetween watertings until you cans tick your finger in about 2 inches into the soil about 2 inches from the edge, and it feels like its not "moist" anymore... after a bit of this... you'll find its easier to judge when to water by "hefting your pot" it will "get light" when it needs water... and feel heavy when its watered.

:toke:
