New Grower First Grow/Journal. DP AutoMazar Now under GN-Ms0006 LED

Wow Wg, you are a wizard. I have been following paronics' grow and learning from all the advice you and others have given. It wasn't until your last post ^^^, that I was able to figure out what was wrong with my girl. I didn't know that pk overload would stall bud growth, everything I have read seemed to point the more pk the better(within reason). I actually am using flora series aggressive flowering schedule with FloraBloom 0-10-10 npk and after reading so many rave reviews on advanced nutrients overdrive, started adding that also 1-5-4 npk. I thought that it would do more good than harm as a flowering supplement but have noticed over what should have been my last two weeks of flowering that bud growth has been a virtual stand still. I never imagined the added pk could be the culprit.

Sorry to come out of left field with this post but maybe it will help others to troubleshoot a budding problem. paronic, you have a great guide in wg assisting with your grow and I know you will be happy with your results.

looking forward to more grow goodness

Hey Newbt.
Nice to have you following along. All input is welcomed here.
I can not praise WG enough for all his input and help. I really don't know were i would be without Him and Squid and the whole of the AFN community for that matter, it's a great place.
Was not able to get hold of any bottled distilled water but I'm going into town tomorrow so i will pick up a few liters on my travels.
I had my baby out the cab today to get a better look at the actual color of the leafs etc. I don't think I'm going to have any leafs left at this rate lol.

A lot of the dragon stranis show those same leaf issues (the reddish coming in) - they're calmag lovers.. how's the soil drying out?

Sup WG
Soil is a lot dryer today and she should be good for a feed by Wednesday.
Was thinking off popping my RQS seeds soon but not sure if i have enough soil out in the shed. Hopefully my next grow will go better now i have everything.

Sup AFN'ers
Just getting ready for a feed as my pot is now dry. Brought a 5liter bottle of Still Scottish mountain water and it has a higher ph than my tap water. Anyway i was just wondering if any one ran their water threw a Brita filter? I have never tested the ph of the water before running it threw 1 before until to day.

I was shocked at how much the ph had dropped after running it threw the brita filter.

Just a quick question.
How many days after feeding should i see improvements to my plant if any at all?

You won't see an improvement in the damaged leaves, you'll stop the progression of leaves dying too early.
It's normal for Brita filters to drop the pH a little and they can provide water that's more 'stable' and has less pH fluctuations for hydroponic applications!

Damn bro, she took a beating without the Cal-Mag.. that is really rough. Has it slowed up at all yet? You've got about another 20-25 days, so that's reasonable if you were able to slow it up.. The leaves that are extremely dead and will fall off with just a touch you can remove.. it won't hurt anything at this point, the ones that are semi crunchy / dead leave em on because they'll be your indicator if you were able to stop the magnesium def..

She certainly has took a beating. It's rather heart breaking.
The deficiency has slowed and and has not spread anymore. I think it just looks worse now because the the majority of the effected leaves have now dried up and died. I've took all the dead leafs off now and ended up with a cupped handful of em. I will be adding the magne-cal+ to my next feed again just to be on the safe side.
On the plus side of things, the buds are really sticky and starting to look crystaly and some resin is visible on some leafs.
