New Grower First Grow, on the cheap....

Thanks so much for the reply WG! Set my mind at ease about a bunch of stuff. I took down the male last night so now its just one plant in there at the moment. I do still have some seeds to pop if the clones don't take ( and im leary that they wont, they look pretty rough. ) I was just hoping to get some guaranteed females running on the next set but it is what it is. Chock it up to a learning experience and move on. :smokeit:

So nice to be able to post again! Lost my cable for about a month and just got it turned back on recently. Finally I can update where I'm at on this grow. So she is currently at 46 days flowering at this point and im getting nervous about if i'll be able to take her full term or not. I ran into (what i believe to be from reading up here) a ph issue in early flowering compounded by the fact that i cut the veg nutes to soon and deprived her of to much nitrogen to soon. I didnt have my PH pen early on and feeding with nutes for a bit before hand (without testing or adjusting ph) really lowered my ph tot he point that even several good flushes didnt correct it. I ended up adding some lime into the topsoil but I'm afraid it was to little to late, especially given the time that the lime needs to breakdown and be effective. As a result, almost all of the major fan leaves have yellowed, burnt and fallen off. The Yellowing has started to climb the branches and is starting to aproach the smaller buds along the branches at points. Heres a pic to show you what I mean, hopefully you can make out what i mean.

The strain (Afghan)(photo) is quoted by the breeder to be a 45-55 day finishing strain. I know that breeders tend to overstate their finishing times so i was thinking like 65 ish days originally. I'm not sure shes going to make it that long, which is sad because her trichs are only about 10% amber and her hairs are only starting to red out. I feel like she wants to go longer but the encroaching yellowing is rather quick.

So the question now becomes do I start the final flush and finish her early, or do you guys think its possible to push her longer with another feed or two before the flushing? I've semi stabalized the ph at this point btw. it is still a bit on the low end 6.3 ish but no where near the 5.2 it was. Im just afraid that the yellowing is going to start taking the trich covered sugar leaves on the lower branches soon and i dont want to lose those if possible. Ill leave you ladies and gents with a few more pics to aid in the decision process :D

I also popped three more (possible) ladies since only one of the close i took made it. That clone is currently in the tent with the flowering lady just starting her own preflower and sex show. I think ill start the journal for These girls in the photoperiod section since im hopin gto turn this into a perpetual photo with any luck. Thanks for all the help and awesome vibes guys its greatly appreciated.
