Hey all,

Got some problems starting to come up after everything's been going good.

I'm on day 15, growing 4 plants outdoor in coco. Water every other day with nutrients while everyday with CaliMag.

1. So if you can see the middle of my leaves are starting to turn yellow and I'm not sure why.

2. On my solo cup grow there's some black kinda liquid thing on the leaves which doesn't seem to be on any plants beside that one.

3. The stem of my plants aren't growing straight except for the solo cup, one of them is completely lying on its side. Anyone know as to why this is happening? They were all growing straight before although it was a little windy and pretty got yesterday.

I'm really worried about the way my plants are growing which is why I'm wondering will it fix itself over time or should I just get new seeds and start over?

When you fertigate with Calcium & Magnesium only you create an out of balance condition in the root zone and this causes a lock-out of other nutrients.

Bot, I am on my first grow myself and about the only thing I have less experience in than growing, is growing in coco. I recommend you take what I say more as commentary of an inexperienced casual observer than as qualified advice.

I think you're seeing problems where there actually are none. Those leaves ? Newly emerged, haven't gotten hit with much light yet or even had time to fan out. I'm not seeing yellow myself, and I would say relax and watch. That black crap is just straight unnatural. It looks dripped on, check the bottom of your watering can and everything else that's been near the plants for drippy black crap. Wipe off the leaf, or trim away the tip that has it, and until you see it again, fuggeddaboutit.

Your plants are falling over because they've gotten "leggy" reaching for the light. Not a lot I know of that you can do about that except fill in the pot with some more dirt, or repot. Bury that overstretched thin stalk, maybe adding some root promoter when you do it. They're fine, but that needs done soon.

Beyond that, I would lose the cal-mag immediately. I don't get why so many people see fit to use it, calcium and magnesium are micro nutrients and a lot of fertilizers will have the full array of necessary nutrients, in sufficient proportion, for your plants health. I would also recommend that if you feel trying to grow has become a struggle, switch to soil on the next one. After watching these boards for a while, it seems to me a lot of people struggle with coco and BioBizz. There's always threads with people having trouble.

Best of luck
