CBD Crack [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] yesterday. Light stress prompted moving the lights up last night to 24" from 18". Raised again to 28" and still not much of a change when I checked this a.m. That response only occurred after the introduction of the Rapid LED puck. I don't have the vertical real estate to continue to move that light up.The HLG 100 is now flying solo. A much happier tent this evening.

I’m subbed for the rest of your grow. I also grow in an unheated but insulated garage when temps have been down around -20F to -30F outside. The garage will get down to about 25F. I insulated my tent with 2” board insulation all the way around, top and bottom. Then I realized that the air intake was pulling that cold, garage air right onto my pots and the roots were really cold. After much pissing around I tried deflecting the air coming in, put plants up on milk crates to get them above the air intake level, and sat all of my pots on seedling heat mats. Roots stay warm now. I also put my nute water in the warmest part of the house so the plants also get warm water when feeding. Live and learn!! I’ll know for next winter. Now I’ll have to figure out how to grow in warmer weather and the pitfalls that go with that.

Right on! Thanks. I'm more encouraged now that they've begun to flower. Yes the temp swings up and down have been the most challenging. Single digits is the coldest we'll see around here thankfully. I've got a 12"x12" piece of sheet metal that I use to deflect heat from the space heater so it's not pointed directly at the intake. I'm sure there's an OSHA violation in there somewhere
. I like the foam board enclosure idea as it would help control the environment winter & summer. Seriously considering splicing into existing duct work and running two branches to the garage. That would take the edge off the spikes. I'm on board with the warm nutrient water program for sure....aaaand the "Portable air conditioner" discussions are not too far away.

I put the tent and insulation on top of a pallet to get it all off the floor. I thought the insulation would also help in the summer. And yeah, a window shaker A/C unit would be helpful then. I’m trying to keep my costs down in terms of electricity so I’d rather not run an A/C unit, but you gotta do what you gotta do.

With The Cheese finally deciding to find a second gear, I ran out of room. Quick fix for CBD Crack # 2: 22" x 22" x 46", 56cm x 56cm x 117cm heavy duty cardboard packing box/reflective insulation/spray glue from the corner store. Wrapped in Panda Film, it sits on board insulation. Fixed light positioning on aluminum rails for the time being. The two vents run to the main tent which will need a larger fan soon.

Probably won't be the last time I break a branch while training. Got the first one out of the way 
Would have preferred to wrap some teflon tape in an attempt to repair it. Super tight spot to try that though. Snipped at a 45 degree angle and into the soil with Mykos and Rapid Start. Here's hoping for "bud on a stick"!
