Hi everyone! This is my second attempt at growing. (The first one I realized I was over watering and ruined it) she just popped out of the soil yesterday afternoon. It took just over 2 days. I’m wondering what’s the deal with that leaf being so bent. I feel like it’s so early on I couldn’t have done anything too wrong yet but I wanted some experienced opinions. Really trying to make this a successful one. So, is this just a thing that happened or is this concerning? Too soon to tell, maybe?

Thanks!

Don’t even worry about it, it’s just one of those things that happens…nothing wrong with it.

I usually suggest growing a few plants, when first learning (or always :smokeit:)….. that way you’ll get a good harvest, even if one underperforms. Plus, you’ll get more experience, faster. :pass:

Regarding "it’s so early on I couldn’t have done anything too wrong yet," the best thing to do at these very earliest stages is nothing, just let the seedling grow.

Regarding overwatering, at this stage, depending on your pot size and presuming your soil/medium started out saturated, you may not even need to water at all for a few weeks. If not familiar, find the often-repeated instructions here on AFN about how to water, basically doing it when the pot has lost much of its weight vs. when saturated.

Cool cool, thank you!

Yeah, that would probably be better than doing one at a time, haha. Thank you, friend!

Yeah, I’ve done a lot of research and that’s what so many people say. So hard not to do anything but watch!

Yeah, I’ve learned that lesson with my first one. Poor thing went into flower when it was only 8 inches tall. Oops. Started doing way more research before I started this one. Fingers crossed! RIP to the first one.
