New Grower First LED: Blue Dream, Jack Herrer, Ultra Lemon Haze, Berry Ryder, Grizzly Purple, Pineapple Punch

Man, I'm glad you said something. It's my first coco coir grow and it turns out you're supposed to feed them nutes every day from day 1. It worries me that the Jack Herrer seedling seemed to get a little burnt, but I added more nutrients today to all plants (second feeding in 10 days). I added a small amount of super thrive to promote root development (important for coco coir grows), a tea spoon of Floranova veg/gallon and a tea spoon of Calimagic (important for LED grows) calcium/magnesium.

I'll be moving my lights down to 30" tomorrow (the conservative height for veg for my lights). It may be the new lights playing tricks on me, but the centers of some leaves appear to be slightly brown/translucent. Two plants have one point where they have a very small leaf curl midleaf. Besides that the leaf colors are all dark green and look healthy (Jack Herrer is looking better, but behind all others). I'm thinking this could have something to do with nutrient deficiency, but I didn't see anything that looked exactly like it in a deficiency chart. I'll watch it closely.

Our Jacks were pansies, but worth the effort. I'm a dirt guy, but yeah, soilless they have nothing to grow on unless you feed them. 30" sounds like a good plan on height.
Don't freak if the Jack lags a bit. As long as it looks healthy, you're good. Both our Jacks were small, but incredible.
:peace:

When i first ran LED's, the plant was scared of the lights. I had a 300 watt 9 spec at 18". I found a lumen meter on my smart phone (This is not P.A.R), the meter pegs out at 30,000 lumens. What I did was put young seedling-early veg just under that 30,000 lumen mark, this way your not just measuring 18 " obviously higher watt anythings need their appropriate distance. Once the plants are in full flower i always start at 18" and let the plant grow at it. I lost a an Auto jack seedling((it was murdered) and It was so young...), so I am rooting for yours.

I have them at 29 inches and they seem very happy. Had to turn my fan a little higher and I'm sitting at 82 degrees, which I'm happy with.

Thanks for the tip, Panic. I'll look into that app; luckily all plants seem healthy and are growing well. The two smallest, Jack Herrer and Grizzly Purple (freebie) are looking healthy, but lagging behind the other four a bit. Not too worried. Jack Herrer is probably my favorite strain (the only one of these strains I bought multiple seeds of for a future grow), so I'll definitely stick with it.

I bet my 4x4 tent will be pretty packed by the end of flowering. Do you guys like to rotate/give preferential lighting positions to slower plants or the quicker ones for better yield? I prefer sativas so I've been thinking of moving them to the middle. I might wait another week or so for them to get fully used to the new environment.

I can't stop checking on my plants! I just bought a wireless security camera with wifi streaming to smartphones that should make checking on them much easier. My girlfriend thinks I'm obsessed, so it will make sneaking a peak that much easier.

Nice work ..I used an old phone as a wifi cam .There are a few free apps for it..Im the same way just make sure if you live in the tent breath all over them .I made some co2 reactors for my first grow plants came out huge..4 plants in the in 5gal buckets will boom that tent.I put the smaller ones in the best light or you might as well kill them if they dont perform.

The Jack is so slow! It droops a little and seems to have a much lighter green color for the new growth. Here is a picture of it over one day's growth:

Here is my second smallest plant (Grizzly Purple), which really isn't too far behind the others:

We'll see what happens, but I'll put it in the most favorable lighting position tomorrow per DABaracuss' advice.

I noticed my thermometer's housing was being heated and giving me an incorrect reading. After covering my thermometer with white paper and putting in a fan, my temperatures have been in the mid to high 70's with low-medium exhaust fan intensity.

The Jack Herrer was seriously stunted (I'm assuming from a deficiency), and while she has gotten better, she is lagging far behind the others. The stem and leaves are far smaller than the others, but she continues to grow at a regular pace. I've decided against giving her a preferential lighting position, and I'll just see what I can get out of her. I hope I don't come to regret buying multiple JH seeds.

The others are growing very well (maybe some very minor heat damage as the temperature has been hitting 82 during the warmest hours of the day. Here are some pics at day 19:
