Outdoor first outdoor grow help?

Thanks Raedwald. SO this morning the girls were a little dry and i went to water them. I dropped one girl she and her soil all came out the pot. One of the roots broke off, i repotted her do you think she will be ok? It wasn't the main root it was one that came off the main root

She should be fine, just keep her moist and she'll be OK.

Thanks everyone can't wait to put these ladies outdoors and watch them take off

Hey SS, finally pulling up a chair to follow your grow my friend.
I just put out some early finishing photos yesterday myself, and will start some autos in a few weeks.

Sending you much growing Karma.

Peace.

my girls are not growing to good, I bought a organic soil from lowe's. At 10 days old they look to be about 6 day old sprouts with no growth really. I been ph'ing my water i wonder if i should since it is a organic soil. I have never used a organic based soil until now

If you planted in pure organic soil it is probably too hot for seedlings. Best to start with seedling mix. At this point, it might be best to remove the plants from the soil and replant in seedling mix. I would gently wash the soil from the roots and replant, then put a humidity tent over the plants until they start to grow again, probably about 7 days. If you leave them in the mix they are in, it could permanently stunt them. Im no expert, maybe someone else has a better idea.

Hey man! I think you should avoid repotting at all costs and only do so if the plant doesn't look alright (nute burns).

What kind of lighting do you have? Mine were just chilling by the window for two weeks and it was really cloudy most days. They ended up looking one week old. I still have high hopes for them because the weather here turned absolutely wonderful as soon as I got them out.

The growth in seedling stage is supposed to be happening mostly in the roots.

Wait until the temps at night optimally exceed at least 10Cs (the night we took the babies out was 5) and take them where they get maximum sunlight.

i Had them under my led light and i believe it was the soil also so i went ahead and replanted them into a seedling mix to see how they bounce back. This isn't my first grow just my first using this soil or organic based soil all together so hopefully they bounce back and are not to stunted

ok so here are how they look the one is 11 days the other is 9 days

Keep them indoors for a couple weeks to let some of there roots grow, So that when they do get outdoors then they will take to the new environment easier. I like to veg on a 18/6 light cycle some like 16/8 to try to replicate the outdoor sun this time of year. When I put my plant out yesterday the root mass was great. I went to look at them a couple hrs ago and they all were nice and happy were they are, A nice dark green with straight crisp leafs. Good luck man dont be afraid to ask, Oh ya I also veg under some 23 watt 6500K cfl bulbs and get a great start for my plants. Take it easy man...K.I.M.
