New Grower First proper grow 2 x Think Different 125w Dual Spec CFL

LST!LST!LST!LST!LST!

In all seriousness, if you can still flex them a little, you may want to consider tying the taller ones down a little because I think every TD thread I've seen, they do indeed stretch a bit, especially after it goes into bud-mode!! Looks like you're gonna be pleasantly surprised when you finish!!!
Lol I've done LST on both these plants so many times I've lost count. It just shoots up straight away and then there's more to tie down. Now its seriously hard to bend any of the stems. The only time they seem to flex a little is when they are parched and gagging for some water. Even then it will definitely snap if I move it much. I think I just have to admit defeat in LST'ing it anymore and just let it grow out now. I seriously underestimated how much LST this strain would require. I thought I could just tie it down into a star shape and that will be all...lol it's more like a spirograph [emoji23]

Saying all that I think this strain could easily be put under a scrog net. Perhaps something I'll try for my next TD grow with hopefully better lights.

Definitely going to buy some more Dutch Passion Auto seeds. Love the sound of the AutoXtreme since I've always liked a good haze smoke.

If your subsequent grows are anything like this one, you're gonna be weed-pro in no time!!! I hope you do a smoke report because I'm on the fence about getting some TD!!

It is been recommended to me from old biobizz users to not mix bloom/grow with top max all in the same bottle because max is a booster, you have to feed the solution wait a few minutes and then add topmax! although i can see alot of people ignore that so its up to you lol:)

It's all good. Thanks for the heads up. I actually did use them together. Seen quite a few people do them together in the same solution. Hopefully it doesn't give me any problems. It would be quite inconvenient for me to add more watering runs to routine and I only have a single watering can for measuring and two used water bottles to mix my feed lol.

Day 34

One day into flowering and it's...GAME OVER! [emoji23]

LOL seriously it's only been a day since I fed it bloom nutes and the stretch I'm getting is crazy. Totally destroyed whatever poor resemblance of a flat canopy I had. In fact I'm not sure if you guys have seen this before but this strain is like Arnold Schwarzenegger in his prime. Literally destroying my pots and caving the walls in wherever its tied. Warping the plastic. Tut.

I've lowered humidity in the room to around 45% for the flowering phase now that it's like a bloody rainforest in there. I doubt I can get much penetration from the CFL because there are just so many bud sites that won't get the best of light. Pushed the fan speed up a bit to try and slow the stretch down but I doubt it will help at this stage. At least there will be better movement of air in the tent now. Last thing I want is mould.

Day 35

Checked soil just a bit ago and it felt really dry and the pot was very light so decided to give it a feed. Fed 2 litre of water with 2ml bloom and 1.5ml Top Max. First time I fed it 2 litres of water and it chugged it like a champ with little run off.

Temps dropped a bit and varying between 23-26 degrees Celsius. Humidity remains at the 45%-50% mark.

Removed about 5 or so necrotic leaves from both plants in total. They were pretty much going to fall off anyway so I don't think it will effect the plants much.

It's looking really healthy and green now with the yellowing and veiny leaves from the mg deficiency pretty much gone.

Also spotted Free Willy roaming around the sea of green [emoji23]

Day 37

Plants looked like they needed a feed and the medium was quite dry at the bottom so decided to give it a feed. 2 litres of water with 3ml bloom and 1.5ml Top Max.

They look very healthy to me now. Mg deficiency is pretty much cured now.

Decided to update every couple of days now when I give them a feed or if there's any noticeable changes to the plant.

They seem to be budding along now with even the bud sites underneath the canopy doing well after a bit of leaf tucking. Did spot one tiny little spot on a single leaf that was touching the CFL bulb and suffered heat stress. Should be okay now that I've moved the bulb a couple of clicks up the rope ratchets.

Oh the smell has also changed in the grow room from grapefruit/skunky to lime/skunky.

Some quick shots to keep you guys updated...
