New Grower First Think Different CFL grow

Introduced 1ml\L of BioGrow yesterday and it seems to work well.No burn till now and hopefully it wont burn at all.Next time i water i will flush it with plain water and the next feeding will be with 2 ml\L.

Salutations redsky9

Please do not flush your plants with plain water.... it is unnecessary... especially at this early stage... you will risk all sorts of deficiency problems...

the Bio Bizz nutrient is fairly mild and it takes a lot of effort to over fertilise ones plants.... bacteria (the fabled micro-life) must first break down the feed to make it available to the plant...

You may water with plain water but DO NOT flush...

The King has long experience of using the Bio Bizz nutrient range and usually never gives plain water.... feed all the time....

In total agreement with my peers with regards foliar feeding... not yet.....

Here is a link showing you some TD ladies the King grew using Bio Bizz nutrients....

Any way that's the Kings thoughts...

Good luck

woops, i read another thread on here and flushed 2 of my 6 plants. I put them in the bath (i have no drip trays) and watered until they run and left them in the bath for the 4 hour period that i shut down the lights then put them back woth the others. That was a few days ago and they look ok. I am using biobizz grow and bloom. I think i used too much of the grow 3mil per water. I am now on day 45 and i am giving them 1mil of grow and 2 mil of bloom, i will increase the bloom to 3 mil for a couple of weeks then up it to 4 mil untill a week before they are ready then take it down to 2 then 1 then flush.
Am gonna get some top max today and start that on monday which will be day 48.
cheers

Back with some updates. It's day 15 of the Think Different grow and a few days ago i added some nuts.I think i should have waited a few more days to do that.As you can see from the pics on one of the leaves there are 2 small brown spots.Flushed today with water and will give only water again next wattering.
Except the small brown spots everythink seems to be just fine. She is growing slowly(might be cause of the nute burn but i think she is just filling the ground with roots and will explode once she enters flowering) but some side branches seem to grow so i believe this will be a really bushy plant.
As i said in the beggining i am growing along side a non auto Northern Lights and she is doing quite well in her 3th week of flowering.Good nugs are starting to form and the frost is magnificent.Added a few bud shots to serve as bud candy. :P
I want to say i am sorry if i go off topic with my non auto girl.Doing this cause i am excited to see her doing so good.
Will add 2 more 2700k cfls to the mix to get some more frost on the buds and get some weight.
One thing i wanted to ask is if it's ok to lift up my NL from her pot and add 5 cm of soil to the bottom of the pot.The soil has sinked quite a bit and i am thinking to give more room for root production. Also remember she is in her 3d week of flowering. Will this stress the plant or will it make her produce more cause there is more room for root production.
Waiting to see what you guys think.

Sorry didnt see the posts you guys did before i posted my update.
So you think i can give nuts next wattering or stick to water a few more watterings?

Hi Redsky

The small brown spots aren't nute burn. It looks to me like a minor calmag deficiency. I would be feeding them now and follow some of the earlier advice
The King has long experience of using the Bio Bizz nutrient range and usually never gives plain water.... feed all the time....

Have you seen the Biobizz knowledge base? there's an awesome amount of handy info in that one thread
here's a link just in case :)

I wouldnt do that personally, because it will most likely disturb the roots and do more damage than the good it could do.

Just my thoughts :)

All the best
Blue ^_^

Thanks blue,i will continue with the nutrients next feeding.
Waiting for some new growth so i can LST the girl.Maybe another week till some side branches get big enough for LST.
Will be posting soon with more pics on the grow.

Back with a small update on my girls.
I fed the TD with 1ml\l BioGrow yesterday and it seems she is doing well. Will up the dosage to 2-3ml\l next feed.
As you can see she is starting to take of.New branches are forming and in about a week i will LST the plant to get some nice even grow cannopy.
Ordered last night some molasses from the internet. It's bio molasses made only with natural ingredients.
Was thinking to add 1\5 tsp to 1 L of water and give it to her on her next feed.I want to do this mainly because i have some brown spots on 2 leaves and as you guys sais it's probably some mag def.I think the molasses will cure her and also help in the development of new growth.
Let me know what you think and what else i should do keeping in mind my grow budget is pretty tight.

One more thing guys.As you can see from my Northern Lights bud pictures, some hairs are turning red\brown but she is only in her 3th week of flowering. Is that ok?Will molasses help her develop more?
nJoy.

Nothernlights get alot of red hairs! Just keep feeding and give al the light you have!
Dont cut leaves from the plants!

So what do you guys think?Should i add molasses to my next feed?If so how much per Liter?
nJoy.
