Sup guys, i got some White Widow x big bud growing, before i flip to 12/12 i wanted to of course get clones. I took ten clones and they have been in my humdity dome on a heat mate for about 14 days. Here is what they look like

I just took the dome off, thinking they might have went a bit to long, I gently grabbed one by the base of its stalk and i could tell the soil wanted to lift a bit with it so i know most if not all have rooted. Also one of them i did that to was really lose and it just pulled up but the roots just started on that one.

So i added some water to the cups (this probably wasn't a good idea now the cups are drenched with water)

They are yellowing and curling under. Could this be that they need some nitrogen? They don't look Dead

I was wondering why you did't clip the leaves of, like so..

So i should just ditch these clones and take more? even if they have rooted?

If so that is fine, because i haven't thrown the others into 12/12 yet so i can take more

if there rooting don't throw them out..I would still clip the leaves.

ok i trimmed the fan leaves on them, and yes most of them have rooted it seems. As a gently tug on the base of the stem i can see the dirt wanting to lift with it. I guess i will just keep the soil moist without the humdity dome and see what happens. Should i add a bit of nitrogen when i go to water next time?

I read that clones have a higher metabolism and will eat up the nutes in the leaves and soil very quickly

1/8 stregth shoul be ok for the new roots, and I would start watering by weight, Instead of moist all the time...that could be part of your droopy stem's now..since they have root's there not getting there water through there leaves......

just to be clear... you have drain holes in the cups? and when you water... you soak thoroughly to 10% cup volume runoff?

and yes... I'd even throw them 1/4 strength veg nutes now... a few root hairs on and they start to really get hungry... :smokeit:

Yea i put about 8 holes in the bottom of the cups with a toothpick so they do drain, On the next watering of them i will add a little bit of humboldt grow to the water. I am hoping and i think they will turn around. I will post more pictures on the clones soon as i see changes.
