Hi,

Benn looking round here for a while but now decided to start a log, not going to be anything special, just fancy giving it a go.

Although this is my first proper try, in the summer i got given some diesel ryder, stuck them under 2 x 23w cfl desk lamps giving me a combined total weight of 5g! (ha) at a grand height of 5":

So this will be my first actual grow, got some Candy Kush seeds after reading a number of good reviews on them and started them about a month and a half ago. Unfortunately had some serious problems with nute burn and all sorts and that's why the plants look a bit bare.

50x50x100 Tent
200w Dual Spec CFL + Reflector
2 x 5" USB Fans - poor mans intake/extraction/circulation
7" pots - realistically need to upgrade to 9"/6ish litres
Soil Mix Westland with John Innes No.2
BioBizz Grow/Bloom/Topmax (from what ive rear i don't really understand the Topmax but came in the pack anyway)
Temps get to 22 ish in lights off and up to 29 lights on

So here's the two that are into flower at the moment - one is very stunted and the other doesn't look too great but they didn't have a great start and lots of fuck ups on the way but just going to see them out.

Plant 2 - stunted WIN_20141111_135046.jpgWIN_20141111_135432.jpg

And finally another Candy Kush seedling, about 6 days old (does it look big enough for 6 days?)

This will be the main plant for this log.

Finally a few question:

Any one used the Westland John Innes No2? Now ive read more into it im thinking that theres nowhere near the amount of nutes in it that they say there is, ive used it on all three plants and they seemed to be growing very slowly, if at all, untill a gave them a very diluted amount of biogrow and they sprang back into life

And, what is the smallest pot size I can realistically grow in to get a half decent yield? Its a tiny tent so space is really an issue, even with only 3 tiny plants in there its a bit cramped

Cheers! :stylez rasta smoke:

Your six day plant looks just fine. You have to realize that small pots will give you small yields.Your tent is only 20x20 inches?never saw one that small. If you want a decant yield I would only grow one larger strain rather than more smaller ones.Yous hould have added some pelite to your soil for better drainage.

Yeah that’s right is a tiny tent but have very limited space so had to do.
I think I got a bit carried away with the 3 but hopefully the first 2 will be done by Xmas then will be able to concentrate on the little one.
I understand that smaller pots = smaller yield, you think that a 1.5 gal pot will be a reasonable size for it? Will be adding perlite to the next for sure.
Last question, the zips and seams seem to be quote poorly made to be honest, but am I right in saying that small light leaks are not that much of a problem for autos?
Cheers
