Hi guys, new to the forum. Lots of good info her and I appreciate the knowledge that is provided.

Quick question, do we have any members that live in TX(or Southern Central) that grow outdoors? More importantly, how does everyone deal with the heat? Are there any strains that are more tolerant to heat that others. Interested in tips or success stories. I don't have a spot inside my house but I have a 30 gal fabric pot that I'm going to give a shot. Hoping to get something to pop early before the heat of summer. If all works out, I would think I could have a grow right now in Spring and possibly another in the fall?

Thanks in advance for any advice volunteered. Cheers.

Howdy @aginhouse welcome to the forum!!!! Fellow Texan here, I think there's at least a couple more of us here.

I don't grow outdoors however I have played with it a couple times with pboto seeds but never reached flower time. They grew well no issue with the summer heat. I .ay do some.this year.

I can say with first hand knowledge that lots of pounds are gorilla grown in the Pine Woods of East Texas. I am betting it will be no problem for you, give.it ago and post up your result!!!

Thanks for the replys. I guess there's really only one way to find out....I know the heat doesn't stop other weeds.

You can get two grows with autos. I know that some strains handle the heat better than others, Google is your friend for that. Never grew in your part of the state, did do so in the panhandle while in school. Great weather there for it, never had to worry about bud rot, just keeping them watered.
