Indoor First time grow - Pakistan Ryder and DinaFem Fruit Auto

Thanks guys. I strongly recommend the DinaFem Fruit. It grew strong from the start, and despite me putting it through hell it produced a half oz. of excellent bud (from a 12" tall plant). The smell is fantastic & I was very happy with the potency of the uncured test buds. I've got one more Fruit and PakRyder seed, so I'm looking forward to growing both these strains again & getting a lot more out of them.

Andy, I just smoked a "test nugget" of my fruit, and you are right about the potency. Clipped at day 65 the fruit test nugget tasted good, and gave me a solid stone. It was only advertised to have 8-12% THC...but I would say its stronger than the dried AKR advertised to have 22%.

Not sure if WOS just over hyped the AKR, or if Dinafem is selling their Fruit short.

You know, I'm glad you said that because I feel the same way. Everybody talks about the potency of the WOS Ryders, and my Pakistan Ryder is very strong. But the Fruit is supposed to have half the THC, yet they seem very comparable when smoking. I have only smoked an uncured popcorn bud from the very bottom of the Fruit, so I'm looking forward to trying some of the finished product. I pulled out a few nuggets after a week of curing, so I'll be able to feel the full effect this weekend.

My DinaFem Haze is growing great, and I hope it turns out just as well. I would gladly grow any DF strains based on my experiences so far.

I doubt any auto's are 22% theres only 1-2 photo strains with that sounds like dinafem are giving fair and acurate information
For instance asi said his chronic ryder is one the strongest strains hes done at its listed at 11.9% lol

i take those percentages with a little pinch of salt. It says the LR2 is 12-14% on the box. 22% sounds mega though lol. like barneys LSD or something. it says that is 24% but it is a regular strain.
i think there could be too many variables involved with home growing to be accurate.

I saw a thc test kit in Amsterdam in July and even that had room for error. it basically consisted of blotting papers and chemicals which are compared to a scale.
kind of like the ph drops. that is the only product i have ever seen for testing thc content

Andy, how things been going? Just wanted to ask you about the Paki Ryder. How's the smell. I mean is it strong when a bud is popped open. I may have mentioned this before, but when I grew mine, one single bud ground up in the grinder, would smell up the whole house...Just curious

And I've noticed one thing about Dinafem, when they post their THC levels, I think their only talking about the psycho-active THC and like WOS, in the 22%, may include all cannabenoides (my spelling is so bad, the spell checker can't even figure it out, sorry). IDK, just a thought...

Rip, the PR is definitely very strong smelling. The buds themselves aren't that noticeable when I open the jar, but like you said, grind it up and everybody's going to know about it for a while. It's a really nice woody, cedar type aroma with a little bit of fruitiness. I've been slacking on getting the smoke reports done for these two but hopefully they'll be up by the end of the week.

You may be on to something regarding the THC numbers. I think the PR may be marginally stronger than the Fruit, but they're very close in potency both by my experience and a couple of friends who sampled both. I'll be harvesting my DinaFem Haze in the coming days, so it'll be a good comparison since it's listed at the same THC as the Fruit.

Yeah, that'll be a good compairison...Usually when I see those high thc #'s, it usually just a way to get you to buy them...But they're still worth looking at...If what I said is true, then that makes Dinafem a more honest seed bank in my opinion...

And it's good to know that the PR is consistent in at least that aspect...
