Wow, i just sign up to this great forum so i could give you congrats on the grow. You did excellent! I have 2 x AKR and 2 x PK from WOS that i will be attempting on my first grow. I can only wish to be as successful as you! Pleaasssssssse post a smoke report on the PK when you have a chance!!

I have 2 AKR and 3 PAKIS (and some more...)in my tent. They are soon four weeks and starts to smell like real killer weed! Easy to handle. Just give them proper HPS light.

Welcome aboard, Alter Ego! We've got a great New Growers area so jump in there and start a grow journal when you get them going. You'll get plenty of great help here at AFN. Regarding the AKR and PR, they've been grown by a lot of members here, and I don't recall anyone being disappointed with the smoke. Really nice tasting and potent. :thumbs:
Sounds really exciting, I will be using a 250 watt Feliz 6500k for seedlings, then switch to my 400 watt MH for veg, then switch the my 400 watt HPS for flower...I built my own grow box from plywood that is 2x2x5, completely light proof and airtight...passive intake and using a Sunleaves Wintunnel 6 inch (409 CFMs) along with a Speedster fan controller. Should work out hopefully. I plan on growing all 4 seeds...hopefully i can yield 2-3 ounces of dried dankness!!
Been snooping around on alot of different forums and this is the only forum where everyone seems to get along in peace and harmony, i love hanging out here as this forum is full of very imformative and educational material. The other forums seems as though everyone is trying to fight over whose man sausage is bigger....jeez...this forums knows hows true herb lover unite for the greater good. Thanks guys!!
BTW: i got the WOS PK and AKR as freebies! I actually ordered some photo periods...3 x WOS Legends collection Strawberry Blue and Samsara Seeds Spicy White Devil...ill grow those on round 2 when i have more knowledge on what im doing.

super thread - nice job andy - i'm on my first grow and so many problems you experienced i had to laugh as i was basically going thru the same one item i noticed, re ph meters - i had gone thru two of the "cheapie" digital meters and ended up with a HM PH200 digital meter ($80 shipped fm amazon) - getting real accurate results from it, but the point, besides the calibration solutions they offer, is they recommend storing it upright in a plastic cup with a small sponge wet with their storage solutions. The one time i let that sponge go dry, my HM PH200 meter did the same 7.00 Ph lock , even when i sampled some 4.00PH calibration solution - and i have to wonder if it's more a case of proper care of the meter just saying good job on the grow journal - tks for sharing. btw, that storage solution is available on amazon for $4 - $5.00, fwiw
