when I see a sudden change in the appearance of a plant in soil...I look first at the ph,then at the age of the plant....plants beginning to show sex sometimes enter a phase where they eat and eat and drink like crazy, just before the growth spurt. when this happens you need to play catch-up with a 1/4 strength feeding and I like to spray a 10 part water/1 part ammonia foliar feed for a N boost.

If you decide to try this method....remove the plants from the grow area 1 hour after the lights come on...mist the leaves underside and topside....allow them to completely air dry...don't put wet leaf under hps..it will spot burn the leaf....it takes a couple days to notice any benefits....the yellowed leaf will not regain its color...I remove the unsightly leaf, but they will eventually drop off if you don't remove them.

you have some great looking girls going...I hope this slight setback only caused a little anxiety and not alot of stress on the plants..

Damn, I'm in love with this overhead shot!! :dancer:

Damn chubby girl...... nice!

I think that's exactly what it did because about 2 days ago another one did the samething , and now it's bigger and taller...thanks for the tip...I've been training the plants pretty much from the start and they are exploding with bud sites...I recently did more lst and tied all of the branches down and tucked the fan leaves...I got some Epsom salts to water with because lower fan leaves have brown rust looking spots, but it's only on one or two leaves on 2 of the plants...I will take some pics tomorrow of all the plants and post them before I water with the Epsom salt for some opinions ...thanks

Here's the pics of the plants at 23 days...I took some close ups of the leaves with the spots I was talking about...other than that they a very green..the one I dropped a fan on and accidental topped is actually the biggest plant..it doesn't look as full as the others but the bud sites are much larger..the one that came out of the ground awkward finally got itself off of the ground and is doing fine...the cream mandarin isn't as full as the others but is about the same height..do the spots look like a cal/mag deficiency?
