OK I know I am a newbie but that fan is made to sit directly on top of that Scrubber it will fit like a glove. I have the same one.
You set it on top pushing air from scrubber through your lights. You will get much better suction with the fan on the filter. You wont need the duct tape and it will take weight off the tent as well.
But your grow your eqpt bro. Just sharing what little I do know.

Good luck

true.....but I have to ventilate the air cooled hood....and i dont want to push the air thru the fan....i want to pull it

like this

What I am saying is it pulls the air throgh the filter and pushes it accross the lights through the tubes. I am using the same one pushing through 2 1000wt hps. It works great I can hold my hands around the second tube and never get burned.

But to Each His grOWN.

Nice setup. Only further suggestion I would make is to hang the carbon filter and get rid of the plastic crate. Free up a bit more floor space. You're correct, always better to pull air through the filter, then the hoods, rather than trying to push it through.

Regarding the FFOF soil, if nothing else, pick up some sphagnum peat moss and it in if you can't afford the LW or HF now. It's cheap and won't break the bank.

yeah im definatly going to hang the filter up top......i just have to run to the store tommorow and pick up some materials to hang it

And some peat moss ;)

Thanks man

Am I set up wrong?

I am not trying to teach I don't know shit but if that right do I have mine wrong? I understand the floor space but I have plenty of that. My issue is I have same Scrubber and fan. It's different than others I have seen. The fan is meant join directly to the scrubber according to directions.
My fan pulls air throught he filter and then pushes that air through both lights. Do I have it wrong?

it can go either way.....i think its more effecient to drag the air thru the fan instead of push it

Its going pretty good.....although im running a high preassure sodium light right now....didint realize....gonna be switching to metal halide in the morning

Got tons of free shit today at Crossroads Hydroponic's "open house" BBQ in New York

Originally I was gonna run all 3 plants each in 1 gallon (i think) pots with ffox and manure mix.....now im thinking for the autos that soil might be too strong....

Im gonna use this "freebie" soil i got today at crossroads in one of the pots....not sure which one though....anyone have any suggestions? 60, nl or cheese?

Just mixed up 3 gallons of solution, 1200ml of seedling water, and 800ml of foliar spray mix

And heres a pic of the nutrient "warehouse" lol

Looks like you made out like a bandit with all the freebies. I'd just be cautious mixing the GO products with the AN. The AN pH Perfect line seems to work best when used in conjunction with other AN products. That looks like a pretty good soil mix. Sunshine makes good products, although I've not seen that particular one before. Most who use their line use the #4 mix.

A suggestion for your next grow. Fill your cups up all the way to the top. Autos have a tap root that grows very quickly. They will appreciate the extra soil depth in a fully filled cup.
