Hello i have just signed up to this site after reading many usefull forum posts. I have a few questions about my think different plants i have three of them under a 400w hps bulb with reflector they are being fed plain tap water and i have a fan blowing air directly onto the plants the soil is john innes 2 from b&q apart from the black pot which is miracle grow all 3 plants were started off in small pots and all got repotted at different times in the space of 2 weeks. The largest of the 3 has developed small growths which i beleive to be seeds growing also some of the leaves are turning yellow i want to know why this is and also if my plants are looking good they are 25 days old in total but for the first five days they were under two 18w cfl lights here are some pictures

Thanks mate, any idea what might be causing the yellowing in the lower leaves and how do you think they look for there age

Looks like you have a male. You should have started veg nutes by now and cal-mag should be use every other water.Nutrient and cal-mag defiecency is probably causing your yellow leaves.Other than that there looking real good

You say it looks like a male but i can see several budsites and there is definetly buds growing so that means it would be a hermaphrodite how could that of happened

Hey and welcome!!
They look great size wise. Wish mine were that big at this age!!! I am catching up tho...
I am new to this but have read a lot so take this for what it is, regurgitated and not actual experience. Hermies happen due to stress, autos don't like to be re-potted. Perhaps that is a reason, maybe not. I hope someone who knows will chime in and let us know!
The folks here will get you going so peace and happy growing!! :karma Cloud:

Heres some pics camera quality is pretty bad though

Hey burnngo! Just stopped in for a looksee, can't resist aTD! I grew some TD awhile ago and they were big hungry plants with a taste for calmag. I had yellow leaves like yours and stopped it cold by adding 2ml calmag/gallon every time I watered/fed. Also being a TD which I believe are all feminized, you could have started her in the final pot and avoided transplanting altogether.Autos don't like to be moved, their funny like that. From the first set of pics you posted it looks like she went hermie on you as they do like male parts(balls on a stick).Lots of things can cause them to hermie, heat, cold, transplant stress, etc. It sucks but it happens to the best of us on occasion. Also start giving those big girls a little veg feed, they need their vittles to grow big and strong!

Thanks for the advice mate i am going to get veg nutes tomorrow and calmag soon, i was going to start them off in big pots but i germinated them and they sprouted before i had full size pots, how long will i be able to tell if they are male parts or not
