Ok so I've got my seed germinating in a cup of distiller water..it's been 24 hours so far.. She has cracked and is showing lil root. My strain is Barney's farm auto malana bomb.. Has anyone ever used this? My set up is pretty much a box I made wrapped complete like a lil tent with Mylar. I've slit down the middle to make some ventilation to come in. I have 5 lights in there there all cfls totaling up to 109 watts all together. One light is a clamp lamp. I'm using black magic professional soil all organic. I've heard from a personal friend it's good... Plus me not having a grow shop nearby I couldn't find any fox farms... I've put my temp gauge in the tent and it comes up to 81degrees with 51% humidity. My question is how far should the lights be from the plant when I plant it? How much do I water the soil before and after I put the seed in? I'm confused how much I should water it... Also when do I start feeding it nutrients? And anyone know where I can get some good nutes from lowes or Walmart? And how often do I feed her? Thanks guys. As you can tell I'm a newb and any helped is appreciated.

Nutes and fox farm you can order from amazon, soak the soil then plant the seed, and as far as the light I would say half a foot from the soil but that I'm not sure about dont use cfls. Nutrients I would say like day 15ish, I would recommend guano if you are going full organic but I mean thats just me. Good luck newb I'm sure youll do great:gthumb::smoke:
Yeah deff make sure you soak the soil before you plant. Not right before but like the night before. That way the soil is damp. I would at first keep the light about 12-16" away until the sprout has popped up. Maybe for 4-5 days, then move it closer. CFLs dont get very hot but they can evaporate the water from the top of the soil. And with the taproot being so small you want to make sure it has water around it. \
