Hey guys Names John.
Im new to this forum been stalking it for a while spent some time on grasscity as well. I have 1 completed grow under my belt 4plants in soil for 4 oz. I have tried hydro 3 times and failed 3 times looking for some wisdom maybe a mentor i can rely on to help me get through this and net some decent results. I am online documenting and researching constantly so i need someone or people who are available.

Ive seen most of your guys grows and it makes my first one look like a baby lol. Anyway I am laid back and i hope to fit in here I did start a thread of my grow if you guys want to check it out.its in my signature

hi and welcome
soil is more forgiving,stick 1 in some dirt till you figure out the hydro bit.
dont feel so bad my first 6 grows didnt get an oz combined,but im upto 3 ish oz/plant now so happy.its taken me 2 years but anyhoo.
hopefully a hydro person will be along soon to point you in the right direction.

I'm also a soil guy, although I've done plenty of soilless also, and I can say wholeheartedly that soil will give you the tastiest bud available. Hydro can give you more yield but won't ever taste as good IMO.

reason I switched to soil was because the yields were supposed to be better I do this small grow in my room and 2x2x5 with 4 plants was too much. I figured out hydro 1 plant 5 7oz if done right but I've been sacking


NY soil grow was fox farm ocean forest in 3 gallon airpot pots full fox farm nutes no meters with tap water. Pyramid seed auto got 1 oz a plant. I've wasted a lot of time trying to get this hydro working if this next one fails I guess it's back to the 3 gallon airpot pots and soil
