Hello. This will be my first time with coco. I checked ppm of the water that i will use, it was 30. After adding some ph minus and plus i got to ph 5.8. Then i wanted to check ppm again and it jumped to 700. Then i checked if ph minus or plus did this. Both of them increased the ppm of the water. If i add nutrients in this water it will mineral locked or burn the plant right? I am kind a of newbie so if you can help me i would appreciate it.

Water: I get it from dehumidifier.
PH: Hesi pH+ PLus Growth and bloom
Hesi pH- Minus Growth

Hi, and welcome to AFN. 30ppm water is perfect, I wish my tap water was that nice. I do not understand why ph down on its own would result in anything like the change to 700 ppm. The products you list appear to also be nutrients. If so, it is the nute content that is doing the ppm increase.

700 ppm may be a bit rich for new plants, but I know nothing about the products you are using.

However, I am a long way from expert on this stuff, so I will be interested to see what some of the gurus have to say.
