First time outdoor grow, some questions regarding timing.

They guys, I'm new to AFN! I was hoping to get started with an outdoors grow and was just wondering when would be the best time to plant autoflowers outside? I'm in a uk/Ireland lattatude so pretty northern! I have 6 Mephisto MBAP ready to go and 6 20L airpots and a prime location for a gorrila type grow, any advice on any aspect of a outdoors grow would be fantastic thank You!

An idea of my own was to get 5L water jug and cut the bottom off and use it as like an attachable propagation hud for the plants during seedling stage, and to also keep out some critters!

You should start seeds inside in a warm place then set them outside when temps are stable around 75 to 80 degrees f.Unless you can water regularly air pots might dry out fast if they are subject to a lot of heat and wind.IT might be a better idea to dig a hole and fill with a good potting mix and then you can put some mulch around them to keep the soil moist.

Thanks, I've a lot to consider with regards to pots. I'm availbe to water as regularly as necessary, the area is close to a stream and I have a friend who is willing to invest time to help me. I might be able to start some inside, although transplanting might stress out the autos a bit so I'll have to consider my approach for a while longer.

My main concern atm is pests and how to deal with them! I might buy some lady bugs later on into the grow lol

Hahaha....what a profile pic, very nice...welcome to the best canna site around, i also grow my current ladys in 20 liter airpots and they're doing fine....just listen to 912Greenskell and read his threads, any question will be answered there ....and maybe you join our current outdoor battle 2017...it's still open for couple of days...
