New Grower First timer, Green o Matic CFL

Good day guys
First time poster on these forums, first time grower. thought i would try and do a journal so people can follow along and watch me hopefully grow some nice smoke.
I am currently 17 days in and i am already amazed with how things are going. my set up is rather simple and in my wardrobe. i have 1 125watt lumi grow currently for vegging and i plan on get the flowering bulb in a few weeks when i need it. have a small little 4inch carbon air filter which is the newest addition as the smell was becoming rather strong.

now here is a picture of the two girl's today. back one started 05-02-14 and the front plant started 10-02-14. almost a 3rd of the way through

hope you like the progress so far, any words of advice would be lovely as i do seem to have an issue with some of my leaves, im guessing heat? what cha think?

Looks real nice man! I like your setup, simple! . Let us know what your temperature and humidity is at, what kind of soil you're using, stuff like that! Make sure you get some kind of cal/mag supplement type thing. Or Epsom salt and molasses, because I've just ran into a big problem with cal/mag deficiency and I'm really wishing I hadn't! First time grower just like you!

Hey chicken really nice looking grow was wondering how much your 4" carbon filter cost im trying to find a small one on a budget. Girls are looking really good its amazing how quick they come along. Im no expert but I'd be tempted to say the small random rust coloured marks could be start of cal-mag def so pick up some Epsom salts or cal-mag supplement im no expert though. Hope you get it sorted

Hey guys thanks for the quick responses! I have now ordered some cal/mag nuts which will hopefully sort the leaves out. Also just order my flower light. Dr Rob I got the filter from Amazon UK for £21 which seemed fair too me. And master eekman this is my first grow
Only complaint I have about the lumii grow is the heat, but that's getting better now I have fans on the go.
Will post some more pictures tomorrow if I get the chance.

Hey guys! quick update. have been using my mag and cal for a few days now and can say that it seems to have fixed my leaf problem. im guessing i will need some other nuts for the girls, any all round good nuts? few more pictures to go along aswell. these pictures are of the first plant seed, as you can see some signs of buds are starting to arise

Maybe becouse its hotspots from the alu foil u're using. Just a thought good luck thought!

Hey guys/gals, quick update for anybody interested. the old gal is surely getting there as you can tell. the smell coming out of my cupboard is so very fruity its almost unbearable, she smells so nice! i have a date for harvest as the 7th this month but i looks like shes gonna need a little longer. have noticed as i check tonight that some of the hair are turning darker which is a good sign. let me know what cha think!

NO BRO,she not ready yet maybe 3 wks but 2 for sure.man she looks awesome you don't want to ruin ur forward progress by chopping to early she still has lots of bud to pack on.my opinion is at least 2 more weeks

Aye dont you worry pal! like i said the date i had down for harvest was the 7th. but yeah shes need's longer, hopefully the two weeks will do it nicely.
