Well, I've been into various ethonobotanicals much of my adult life; not so much in the growing department, moreso in the consuming department. Although I've grown many'a Trichocereus spp, along with many other succulents, the cannabis avenue is very new to me, so any comments or help is welcome. I've been a longstanding member of an ethnobotanical forum for many years, so plants aren't too foreign to me.
I plan within the next month or two to start my first autoflower grow. I've acquired 5 Ultra Lemon Hazes from Attitude; being auto fem's. Also I acquired two of their freebees - 1 dinafem Cheese and a dinafem White Widow, both fem's. Those I plan to try my hand at at a later date once I run through the works of giving these autos a shot, just to see the whole process, more or less, unfold.
Along with these seeds, I plan on acquiring what I need to give these plants a proper life. Below I have compiled what seems to me, to be a decent startup; all comments are welcome:
Grow Tent Kit – 4ftx2ftx5ft
5 Lemon Haze AF seeds – (Grows 2.2ft-2.5 roughly, inclusion of pots, another 11-11.5in added onto the heigth, soo all together 3.5ft total+/- from ground to plant top)
(2) 4 gal pots – 11in ht.-11.5in diam. (Should I go smaller pots?)
190CFM fan/4in/crbn filtr/tubing (fan/filter connected and place inside tent, then tubing ran outside)
Small Wall fan/Adjustable
Inda Grow Pro -100 Tesla Lighting/Ballast (Puts out light akin to a 200watt MH/HPS; this apparently has a full spectrum bulb; apparently these lighting systems have good reviews.)
Analog light timer
FoxFarm Organic Ocean Forest Soil
FoxFarm GrowBig Organic Vegetative Nutrients (Optional to me considering
OF has a great nutrient profile, and not much would probably actually be needed until the last week of veg or maybe no veg nutes at all, and just do flowering nutes when the time is right/once flowering begins)
FoxFarm TigerBloom Organic Flowering Nutrients
4in Duct Flanges
Electronic Thermometer/Humidity gauge
Electronic Soil Tester (when/when not to water)
I just wanted to get this all out there, details/etc, so you guys know what I am working with in my head.
Any and all comments are welcome, especially regarding nutrients/scheduling/etc. I've looked over
's nutrient table, and obviously I wont use those specific amounts; more like 1/2-1/4 strength from what i've heard? Also flushing, is it really necessary - like going from veg nutes to flowering nutes and a week or so before harvest?
Thanks again,
brahma

Flushing is not needed between veg when growing, and flowers cycles just dont over do it one the nutrients. You will want to flush at the end for 7-14 days before you chop to wash away as much nutrients as possible. Any questions fire away! :howdy:
