Flowering or not??

Lew, the nute's self-buffering is in reference to the solution it makes, but not the soil/medium that it's in,.. it can help some, but it's not the end of pH management I'm afraid, especially in soil, soilless mediums, or coco ...the plant roots, microbes, other nutrients/supplements all are sources of input and change,... thanks for the better pics! I see some tip clawing--older symptoms? The yellowing tips on mostly upper growth looks a lot like Zn defc., and very likely just a plain lack-of type defc., however, nute burn can present in a similar manner... Zn is locked out only under very alkaline conditions, or P toxicity (never seen it),...let's see what your soil pH is, but a micronutrient supplement might be in order,...

image.jpeg image.jpeg @Waira i think your right with the lockout when it's high on my he alkaline scale. Run off was showing 8.4!! I have flushed 40litres with Water PhD at 6.1. Hope this will get it back on track. It still doesn't seem right compared to all other plants in the garden. Iv added a pic of whole garden. Considering they all broke soil on the same day and all are well into flowering and the AutoUltimate has frozen in time

...well, run-off alone isn't a fair evaluation of pH, to get decent estimate you need to know the pH going in, do a calculation, etc.-- did you follow the link to that method in my earlier post, and get the reading that way? What soil are you in, BTW, and what's the water source? ...since you flushed already, we'll have to wait for a bit and let her recover from the water logging,... also, it's best to have put in 1/4 strength nutes + Ca-Mg in that last pour, to leave a little food in there,... now, I'm not sure I follow what you mean by your "he alkaline scale"? Are you talking about a meter reading? Not that we can take that pH at face value unless you followed that method, and even then, run-off is a crude estimate..., but 8.4 is very alkaline for a soil, and it begs the question as to what brought that much hardness into it,.. I have doubts, since Fe locks out way before Zn, and I see no symptoms of that,... something's weird about that pH, mate...

Hey Waira, whats a good probe t`purchase(if you can recommend 1 for both US and 1 for Europe, stockist/availability wise)? Can you buy a probe for leaving, stuck in the pot for the duration of the grow? If so, are they reliable? (Sorry t`bug you like this, but, I`m an widow box or outside grower and am thinking of moving indoors.) This has been tricky for me t`find info about. Any help/info would be appreciated. :pass:

I bought a probe ph tester just to make sure I won't get it wrong next time. After the flush she perked right up, leaves stopped drooping and risen back up but then nothing again, it's just pushing thin shoots out from the base of the stem and seems to be filling out more. She is day 41 above soil now.

:smoking:--oops! pardon Krug, I seemed to have missed this one,....... for the money, the Accurate 8 by Control Wizard is a great choice; it works on the same principle as the other cheapie garden center units that have those skinny probes, but it's built way more robustly and as such, has better accuracy too; it still needs to be used properly and cleaned fresh with that buff-pad to remove tarnish and residues,... I've heard folks over the Pond say that the A8 isn't available, but found something exactly the same, just a different brand name-? Beyond this, it's more expensive, sophisticated high accuracy devices that a little research will turn up,... Lew, what did you find for your probe? And what reading did it show on the problem plant?...-good to hear she's turned the corner,... way to grunt it out mate! :d5: :slap:

Personally i used AN Sensi PH Perfect for my first run without a PH meter and may of lucked out but i had no issues with PH.

I have heard of some bagged soils and peat mixes being too acid like FF OF but not that Alkaline so that is little mind boggling for me.

First pics look like overfeeding and over watering to me with a bit of high temps with the baggy/puffy leaves. Doesent look like the leaves saw much downtime sofar.

I highly recommend using the PH chart and looking into the Soil Probe that @Waira mentioned if it really is that alkaline somehow.....did you add dolomite lime perhaps?

No mention of the medium here and no time to read the journal so there are my thoughts sofar from my limited experience.
