Hi, my plants have about 2/3 weeks left. So was thinking of changing to water to flush before harvest.

Is plain or ph'd water better?

Thanks.

If you're using RO water I don't think it maters much. The lack of minerals in RO water makes it almost impossible to measure or reach a stable PH (without adding nutrients and calmag). If you're in soil, I think as soon as the water hits the soil it will take on the ph of the soil.

If you use tap water with a decent amount of minerals (PPM), I think the choice whether to ph or not depends on whether you want the plant to live awhile on the nutrients in the soil, or lock them out and cannibalize itself sooner.

(FYI: this site uses "cleanse" to describe water-only feedings in the final 2 weeks. "Flush" means 3x container size drenching.).

always "flush" (been using flush for decades before ever hearing cleanse) and ph adjust the water when doing so , you want the plant healthy right up until harvest , not a pre-mature death/quick ripening

you want to flush any nutes/salts etc out of the soil and allow the plant to use up its reserves stored in the leaves , once they are used up you get a clean burning and clean tasting finished product

could not have said it better.some people don't (cleanse) or water only.the only time I water only is seedling and 4 days before chop at which time I flush with at least 3 x pot size.thats if I have no screw-ups like over fert and what not
