i have sort of a problem with when to flush auto flowers
is it just once the week before harvest, or do you have to flush also in the middle of your grow,
opinion

thanks

I run a quick flush in between veg and flower, with the last gallon being flower nutes. Then 2 week cleanse at the end with the first non ph'd water with a flushing agent called Fox Farms Sledgehammer.

same but no flushing agents

Im using Canna Flush over here. At plants with a long veg time and for sativas that flower long i like to flush a few times so there is not that much salt build up in the medium. Old techniquie Franco from Greenhouse teached me ages ago.

Personally, I'm not a fan of doing a flush unless it's absolutely necessary to address a plant issue. Running such large amounts of water through the pots tends to stress the plants and in my experience, they take a bit to recover. Giving enough water/feed so you get about 10% run off should keep the soil relatively free of salts. A good way to know if you are flushing away the salts is to examine the inside of your pots after the grow is finished. The white deposits on the inside of the pots are the salts. A small build up is normal but if you see a heavy buildup, then increase the amount of run off you get with each feed/watering.

Good Point but i guess when i read that much ammount of Water that we all define a Flush diffrent. For me there are 2 types of Flushs. The Final Flush before Harvest(with a Big Ammount of Water) and the Flush during the Plants Life(a good 30-50 % drain with a Flushing/cleansing Agent after a Dry out and then let dry Out again to start new watering/feeding). Thats the same Flush i wanted to do in my Thread Muddy.

That's why we've tried to make the distinction between the two by referring to the plain water given the last two weeks as a cleansing. Flushing is running 3 times the pot size of pHed water to address an issue, cleansing is the plain water at the end to help eliminate any nutrient residue and improve the smell and taste. https://www.autoflower.org/f2/flushing-vs-flushing-12578.html
