Hey all, i just bought some advanced nutrients bottles and i found the TaNg feeding method but he doesn't use the same base as me

I will use the micro-grow-bloom base (advanced nutrients) and my tap water is 7.2Ph and 0.3/4 EC
-10L pot with Biobizz Lightmix
-450w LED board

Currently i've made this things, but i don't think it's good enough
Can anyone help maybe ?
Thank's for reading

I wouldn't feed an even ratio of micro/grow/bloom throughout the entire grow. The amounts might work, but you'll have too much Nitrogen late in flowering with that ratio

Ok thank's for the tips
I just saw a guy on youtube saying that we need to put them at 1/1/1 ratio all the way, i'm lost right now :dizzy:

Edit: currently i have two more weeks to make a good schedule, i will try my best but as a beginer it's very hard

Well, I mean, it could work and would be an interesting experiment for sure.

Grow is 2-1-6
Micro 5-0-1
Bloom 0-5-4

So when you add those up in a 1:1:1 ratio you get a final fertilizer with a ratio of 7-6-11. That's probably an okay recipe for the most part, especially with additives; any cannabis fertilizer you want to make sure that N is less than K and P is less than N, so that ratio will do it.

Also, with those additives make sure you're using them very sparingly. This may be a bit of a minority view, but I don't think anyone has ever truly had an insufficiency of calcium or magnesium, basically all the cannabis products I've seen have sufficient micronutrients in their base products, especially using tapwater which is usually high in calcium and nitrogen. I think most "cal-mag" supplements are sold in bad-faith because this stuff is pretty complicated without an understanding of organic chemistry. I think what usually happens is people feed N and K in excess, which both lock out Ca and Mg ions from being available to the roots. The problem with adding "cal-mag" if you have a magnesium deficiency is that most of those products have a ton of N, which locks out K in excess, which can then accumulate in the medium and lock out Ca and Mg, so it's sort of not doing what you want it to do and adding more only makes the N-toxicity worse. Confusing stuff...

Granted, some product lines are formulated to include a calcium product that is necessary on top of the base nutrients, but I think General Hydroponics already includes enough Ca and Mg for cannabis in the Flora Trio. TaNG is a master-grower and has some amazing results on here, but like you said, I think using the Advanced Nutrients lineup, so it really is a different beast.

If you do go forward with the 1:1:1 ratio, I'd really be interested in the progress! The other 'easy' way to use GH Trio (duo, really) is called the Lucas Method, where you just mix Micro and Bloom in a 1:2 ratio for semi-soilless medium or 2:3 ratio for coco coir. I found leaving out the Grow sort of caused more problems than it solved, so I went back to using the 3 part formula.

Wow thank's a lot for these informations, i have a lot to learn as i see :baked:

i think i'm gonna try the 1/1/1 ratio on my plants and maybe upload some pics if i don't miserably kill them (that guy on youtube was pretty confident tbh)

Someone said that i should use 0.5Ml/L for the first two or three watering (after 10-14days) then increase every weeks (again at 1/1/1 ratio) and never put above 2mL/L + additives, again using tap water and light mix

Maybe i should give it a try and adjust by myself :gassy:

This will be my third grow, but my first autoflower one. All of this is new for me since i was using biobizz nuts + all mix soil before and never had to worry about burning them

My growshop is currently closed, and i can't buy online so a friend gave me

Micro grow bloom base + Atami rootbastic
B-52
Big bud
Carboload
Overdrive

The funny thing is, he bought them 3months ago and never used them :kitty:

My general rule of thumb with GH is no more than 8ml solution per gallon, so like 3ml grow, 2ml micro, 1.5ml Bloom is my current veg recipe.

2/2/2 should be a good max, but don't be afraid to do 3/3/3 if your plants look hungry. Another option instead of increasing concentration is to add another feeding because in hydro you can just water more frequently to feed the plants more nutrition.

The taNg feed schedule does not work for everyone because they do not follow his methods completely. He adds things during the grow so read his threads carefully. Even the source of his water can be an important part of his success and you may not have the same water chemistry!
