Realized the spider mites I had been battling on my four Jems were really root aphids and I'm throwing in the towel. I just cut the plants and tied them in a trash bag. The soil has had a good amount of peroxide dumped on it and will most likely get some bleach before being tossed.
So check your dirt!
I had been in and out of town, and using new products to treat what I thought was mites, I was not confident in its effectiveness. One day I saw them swarming on the tiered pot and thought, huh spider mites don't do that.
I had been making sure none of my plants were touching the infected plants but they were in there for a bit.. Any one know how likely this crap is to take over my greenhouse? I can't seem to find any good info on these critters.
