Live Stoner Chat FREE Seeds Equipment & Honesty

when you write it up your job is to both praise whats good and critic what is wrong. Just do so in a constructive matter. Explain the points that stand out in detail, good and bad, then make suggestions as to how you think it could be fixed! THAT is what is expected of you. Honesty is what they want, just word it in a manner fitting of a review. Don't bash it, but do explained in detail. And if in the end, any company doesn't like your review, who cares? As long as you can feel good about it, that you gave an honest review, then you did your job as it should be done!

Words of wisdom, you have to tell the truth good or bad just be fair and honest

This is where documenting with pictures comes in,if it's done well with regular updates it would be difficult to deceive,or am I very nieve lol saying that I have seen some yield claims that I didn't believe but I think that's bravado more than anything.

My thoughts exactly. You never know who to trust these days.if you receive something free to promote or whatever you should give as much info with pics as possible.it's real easy to pay people off these days.pretty sad really.not much honesty these days. Lol that's funny you say TANG.that's the people on here I learned to trust.lots of false claims on dry yields,I agree...also I believe the more friends you have, the more boms you win.but that might bother some people...I'm here just to get the jars full of nugs and show those of you who care along my way.you like me or you dont.one thing for sure.i tell it like it is.no brown nosing here.peace

I have seen people talk about free strains they were given as if they were greatest thing in the world in the public forum, but when asked about them via PM they have quite different

Wow. I'm no more honest than the next guy, but the price tag on my integrity is a bit higher than a couple of free beans.

Doesn't matter what you're doing. You're only as good as you're word. Do the best you can with what you have. Dont make promises you can't keep. Always help people less fortunate than yourself. Life lessons that used to be taught, not much of that going around these days.

Big up True for bringing this up. I always assumed The best Growers had access to deals/freebies. I don't think it matters,it's promotion and goes on in any industry .and the best growers having access to the latest gear first makes sense for everyone .think maybe it's only in the Canna Industry that it would be openly discussed on a moral level and that's a good thing. I also think people on This forum are honest in their opinion and are very knowledgeable of the products they use. As True has proven cannabis consciousness often points us In the (true )honest direction. Peace

Ive always said what I feel imho.I go well out of my way to point out positives usually but do mention negatives and imho also I think some ppl dont like that.Ive gotten some backlash from a few things ive published out there in cyber land.so mostly anymore I just say how the smoke is and how easy something works or not.:Hookah:

What we tell the Staff that get Test stuff is it must be an Honest review.

You don't need to be slamming or flaming a product to do an Honest Review.

At the end of the day if you are doing a grow thread..We are Watching what happens.
If a product is Crap we will See it.

Also..if you put a Positive Review on something that isn't....the members are going to come back to you saying Woahhhhhh..I bought that on your Recommendation and I wasted my money.

Hell of a Responsibility.."astros Wink wink.." ....

its also the job to use said item or advise as described and not to deviate imo either lol. Mac Guyver Guys need to relax lol :Hookah: it is a big deal especially with autos too imho. I never really thought of it like that though.well usually i guess lol. maybe thats whats un nerving at times lol.:Sharing One:

Based on personal experience of being on both sides of the product provider and product evaluator (company, not personal or cannabis related) relationship, sometimes these situations can be a slippery slope. On the evaluator side, I always asked the product provider before agreeing to evaluate, "Are you comfortable with the possibility that our review may be less favorable, perhaps even negative, than you would like?" I made our decision to participate or not based on HOW the question is answered. The answer occasionally was quite revealing ....

Thanks to True for his thoughtful, introspective original post and to pop22's response among others. However, I think I disagree slightly with pop's comment "Honesty is what they want (in a review)". If only it was universally true ...

Forgot to add, I think its always a better approach to disclose the relationship than not. But that's just me....
