Hi again everyone,

This hobby sure has a number of stimulating aspects to it, including expressions of support. I appreciate that!

...I hope you are AHEAD of where you left...

Not to such an extent i might be tempted to leave my sense of modesty behind, though i've gained some confidence about fighting The Borg lately:

Spider Mites - IPM (Integrated Pest Management) (2013-Nov-7 13h02)
That's progress considering what i was facing a year ago (!):
I like to read about the Journey that got people to growing their own meds and one day MONEY...

Oh but i can't think of a higher priority than to have access to cannabis of controlled origin, profit never was in my plans and it never will as it's the things money can't buy which make me value this hobby the most, exactly!

:peace:

Salutations everybody,

Thank you all for this feedback!

Finally i created a thread where all of your future additions should go:It's going to be a multi-part reflexion...

Egzoset ..........:tiphat:....welcome home!!!

Salutations everyone,

Better late than never, here are a few threads i wrote before AFN went through some software migrations:

This young autofem had a name, i called her « Ainée » and she was my very 1st cannabis plant ever, so never before i had got an opportunity to watch any cannabis seed sprout on my window-sill and then come to life in such a way that enhanced mine so deeply - because this fragile specimen was an actual initiation to me, despite the evident lack of light which hurt it severely. In retrospective i shall comment that somehow she still managed to pose as my "featured star" anyway!!

A few sessions later another thread illustrated my slow progression as i attempted to climb the learning curve, patiently:

Two simultaneous sessions were photographed. I think JdC #3 had the AutoMaria II duo (in round buckets) while in JdC #4 i got 1 AM2, 1 Big Bang Auto and 1 GOM. Harvest was really modest.

Such a creative contraption may fail to make sense, though i must point out it was intended to provide me with a physical experience which i wanted to acquire in hope this might help me understand how an hybrid "docking station" cabinet needed to be designed for starters. Unfortunately spider mites eventually interfered with that challenging plan, consequently my intermediary setup also became the last...

For preliminary reflexions on such a particular idea please refer to my post linked below:

Good day, have fun!! :D

Hello chum,

a belated welcome from the penguin. cheers, eP.

Salutations ePenguin,

...welcome...

Thanks, it sure feels nice having a brand new home which somehow still brings back good memories. Must be the furniture we learned to appreciate...

;)

Good day, have fun AFN!! :peace:

Hey E ... love that table top grow space ... :pass:

Salutations Chester,

... love that table top grow space ...

That's too kind, this is a compliment i appreciated!

It served its purpose and i consider this was rewarding overall, as i genuinely needed to manipulate things with my hands rather than my brain (...), because i realized i just couldn't hope to evolve through intellectualisation alone.

In retrospective the physical contact this prototyping platform allowed to me to enjoy, every day or so, felt quite beneficial/salutary and it's a durable legacy i can value despite its marginal aspect. Anyway a custom-made hybrid cabinet adapted to my prefered scenario(s) would have required no lesser than this IMO!...

So, maybe it's not a bad thing the spider mites derailed my plans in some way. Time-modulated billing is on the horizon as a direct consequence of power logging meters, which implies if i ever give this some other try again then i'll be more confident about what the next step should be, hopefully. Who knows, i still got 5 Purple Ryder #2 dormant seeds in my refrigerator plus 1 Cannatonic, 60 $ (CAD) worth or pure silver, a pair of LM334Z semiconductors (for current-limitation) and even some 12 Volts DPDT relay (for cyclic polarity reversal) that i could still want to toy with after all!

I even got a laser pointer, just in case...

:rolleyes2:

Now thank you everyone! The thing is i'm worried this has been among the most long-lived presentation post in AFN history (...) so if/when the time seems appropriate, eventually, the future readers are warmly invited to continue discussions in accordance with a chosen topic, since these old threads might actually require an update as well i'm afraid...

Good day, have fun!! :peace:
