I'd totally forgotten about this thread, even though I started it...:baked:
So here's a few pics of my much neglected garden, I never did get round to planting out the melons.....
Tomatoes are doing well and each of the cucumbers has one on it but they're fine, peppers not sure what happened there and the beans are just being beans and growing everywhere they can get a grip. The sunflowers have just about finished but I'm leaving them for seed, a few flowery type things and a barbecue that finally got used this year

Rhyce Saroni...

Is that a pumpkin I spy growing there. Nice looking garden you have there, I bet your Acer shows some nice colours in the autumn

Yes, that vine and subsequent pumpkin grew wild in the berm (swale)... A squirrel chomped on one last fall and this was the result. Everything in the berm just comes up every year... I till it in the spring and let it go... after a couple of good heavy weedings we get this... There is an underground vein of water that keeps it all moist for the entire season... I figured that out a year ago... What could be better...

And the Acer turns a brilliant red along with my Euonymous alatus... I will most definitely post fall shots... It is a trip!
