Ok I germinated seeds using the paper towel method and then went straight to rockwool cubes where they all have popped. Since then some of the stems have started turning a dark color and not looking so well. I have them under 2 6500K CFL bulbs and I keep the cubes damp to the touch. I dont know what I'm doing wrong smh PLEASE HELP!!!!

i have since put the girls outside then will be going in the box by 2morrow.....hope everything turns out good for us :/

Keep us posted, post a pic a.s.a.p. for the people here to be able to diagnose

The dark color you are seeing, is it brown or red? Also, are the stems getting thin?

yes stems are thin and its turning a redish brownish color.....not sure what im doing wrong :(

Sounds like you have damping off. Mix 1 tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide to 1 quart of pHed water. Use that to mist your seedlings. The H2O2 will kill off the bacteria that cause damping off. If the stems have gotten so thin they are falling over you may not be able to save them. More on damping off here: https://www.autoflower.org/f73/damping-off-causes-treatments-1946.html

Thanks for the advice, since we have gotten the box finished and ventilated well enough 2 bring the temperature down to right around 80 degrees. And the water should be ph'd to 6.5 correct?? The girls are looking way better since the temp change in the box. We have fox farm newts and tiger bloom for flowering but we are having trouble with the soil. What is the right npk ratio in the soil 2 start??? We have this soil but not sure if it will be ok for our ladies...the NPK ratio is .12 - .09 - .07 there is very little selection around where I live so I was wondering if I'm able to use this soil or should I find another soil??? And if so what would be the right NPK and/or what type of soil am I looking for?? I know there are alot of suggestions which is quite confusing and contradictory sumtimes but I just wanna be able to have a good 1st grow since my buddy got a little anxious and we ended up killing all the plants/seeds :/ so I do understand and have studied on how 2 grow I just want to get our 1st grow where we actually have a yield to be better than ok haha I hope you can give me sum advice and in turn I will post pics soon. Ty
