I got this G-Tools G-KIT 250 Bonanza cab a few years back as an upgrade to my home made CFL cab.
I needed more headroom, but wanted something that looked discreet and didnt involve me using hammers and nails and a lot of blue tac.
The modular - slot together design really appealed to me and i wanted to upgrade to HPS, without going crazy as i only need to grow a little!

Here's my opinion on it all.
G-Tools - Nice company, nice guy! He sent the kit without a timer, which should have been fine as i had timers, but this cab needed a 2 pin timer, which I couldnt do myself. Fair credit to him, i emailed and he got one out in the post to me really quickly at no charge.
The Cabinet - Didnt come with instructions and I got really wound up putting it together, there are some subtleties which you only notice after puzzling for a while why it wont fit together. (once worked out, it really can be put together in less than 5 minutes)
Heat problems straight away - couldn't work it out and figured that it must just be the extra heat from HPS. Blamed everything for the heat including my fan. added pc fans to the passive intake - nothing helped.
The smell - late into the first grow I get an earbashing from the other half about the smell. - Rage!
Soooo - Thinking, the fan must be buggered or the filter was crap, I got my old fan and filter out and got all destructive on the pre installed bits on the cab (breaking my plant in the process - RAGE!)
When i eventually got the fan out - i found a pretty sub standard bathroom fan in there, just not suitable to remove heat or smell. That went straight in the bin. The filter i couldnt say whether it was good or not, i was angry so binned it too.
Fit my old (much much better fan) and old filter to the unit (the fan is now outside the cab on the roof sucking air out, and "pushing" it though my filter set after the fan.
All temps since have been perfect and no smell!
Small draw back is once the plant grows big, the only way it's coming out is when it gets chopped - Or dismantling the entire cab - which isn't really practical once you're a way into a grow. So no flushing for me! (saying that i got a HUGE 500ml syringe for taking the water out of my tray - so if i had to i suppose i could)
Does it serve me well? - Yes it does, constantly now
Would i recommend it? - Nah, sorry guys, they should have known that the fan and filter were not fit for purpose!
I didnt take it up with them and am not complaining - just passing on my experience. I had spares so it was no biggie for me.
Light wise, 250w is perfect for that size, 60cm x 60cm is enough room for 1 decent photo period or 3 autos in 9 Litre pots.
the cost - well, the money i've saved vastly out weighs the money i spent. Think it was about 500 euros
Hope this helps anyone who was considering this Cab.
