Whats up AFN. This will be my first offical grow and first post here. Im a newb but ive been din my homework here for a while. This seems to be a really constructive and helpful community so I look forward to your advice and feedback.

After gettin my order from the tude (with some nice freebies) I chose the G13 labs Auto Blueberry and Auto AK47

This will be a closet grow using CFLs, i know thats not everybodys favorite method bt it fits my situation best right now.

Both plants have been grown under 4 6500k bulbs (2 each). I only within the last 3 or 4 days decided to put a 2700k for a little extra light and a fuller spectrum. let me know what you think

so far im running a 24/0 cycle but im wondering if its better to let them atleast get 4 hours of dark?

my medium will be fox farm soil. About 5 days ago I gave them a 1/4 feeding of fox farms grow big nutes. The Ak-47 responded well but the Blueberry got a small burn. ive since shelved the veg nutes and im now debating if i should bother with the fox farm flower nutes or should i let nature take its course

These girls sprouted one after another Blueberry 10/23/12 and AK 10/24/12
Putting them on pace to be exactly 9 weeks on Christmas day. I Hope to have a nice tree to decorate.

As of today they are on day 13 and just under 2 weeks.
i hope to see pre-flowers soon so i can switch to my 2700k set up

Any advice you guys can give will be more than appreciated

HERE ARE SOME PICS I WILL UPDATE REGULARLY:lol:

They look nice and healthy bro, welcome to the site :smokebuds:

You are refering to Ocean Forest right? Ocean Forest has nutrients in it already. You can wait until around week 3 to add extra veg nutrients. I usually use the color of the leaves to gauge whether the plant needs more N. Too dark (bluish) means too much N. Too light means they're hungry. Don't bag the nutrients just because you have a rough start. It's better to learn how to use them.

Are you checking/adjusting the PH of your water?

Lookin good so far! I got a pairof g13 auto blueberries goin myself around 33 days old now-watch the nutes-their picky as hell.

greenthumper thanks bro i appeciate it. i look forward to learning alot here.

whats up peekineeze, yea i was refering to ocean forest soil. that seems like a pretty smart way to monitor the nutes im gonna take your advice, i didnt wanna drop the nutes all together because i believe in them, i jus need to learn the tolerance of each strain. thanks for the advice i needed that. by the way i havent been ph adjusting the water only leaving it out 24 hours to distill it, is it absolutley nessassary on 2 ph when using nutes

thanks brother phoenix rising, yea i noticed they are a little sensitive but i plan on finging the right mix. thanks for taken the time out guys
