New Grower G14 and AKR

No problem bud! 
day 28: girls are 4 weeks old today. Afghan grew quarter of an inch in 2 days and g14 grew a half an inch. I did more LST today and the AKR sits about 5 3/4 inches tall and 10 and half inches wide. The g14 now sits at 7 inches tall and 13 inches wide. One branch I wasn't able to LST maybe in couple days gets some growth. Both are doing well. G14 hasn't shown any new deficiency just parts where she was yellowing and burned at has not gotten better. But no spreading. I gave them each a 1/3rd of a gallon of PhD water and photosynthesis plus the microbes. Next watering will be flowering nutrients tiger bloom. I got my rapid rooters today and heat mat so will be starting another g14 and afghan since my dark devil freebie is 8 days and hasnt sprouted Here are some before and after photos. Not the best realize now phone has to be turned not only sideways like someone mentioned but the volume side has to be on bottom so a few aren't straight pictures. 1st pic Before lst

Afghan after lst. Didn't do much on this shorty. Branches are pretty hardy.

Going good! I’m glad you got rid of the deficiency! Start checking the branches mine started getting rigid which is one reason why I accidentally topped. I just move them a bit and make sure they are softer before pulling. After watering works well too!

Looking great! Even if those bud sites don't get much bigger at this stage the light is going to get to those sites much better and get you better yield. Something that has been working great for me but haven't seen mentioned while doing lst is you can do a combination of lst and leaf tucking as well to open those bud sites up more if need be.
Be pretty sweet to have some 10 inch plants thats branches are solid buds lol. But you are right. It really does open them up to light. I'll continue to get better as i grow. Keeping them shorter is really beneficial to my perpetual grow so I'm happy they are short. Just was hoping to be about 15 inches or so. I did do some leaf tucking after i posted these photos. Not much but i did do a few.

You might honestly get more than a 15 inch plant and your going to have prem bud vs a bunch of lower stuff that is undeveloped.
I would still do one reg without lst just to see what you prefer though and maybe a bigger pot size too do some experiments :smoking: it is just like the trich ripeness personal preference some people don't grow for the yield and just potency some grow more for flavor some for medicinal etc. It will be interesting to see how lst does with a bigger pot like I've got the 24k in, I half to lst it cause I don't think I have room.

The g14 on fastbuds site says it can get up to 45 inches left untrained. With a 5 foot height tent I can't risk it. Plus id have to have a light up real high and doing a perpetual not sure if that's the best. I will not be topping them next time though. But i still think im gonna lst the Afghan and g14. Afghan really doesn't have great branching so lst does help that strain. Can't wait to see how your 24k goes in a bigger pot. I was wanting that strain real bad. Guess the upside is ill have more experience when finally getting to grow it

That's usually with bigger pots mine could have got that big too but only 25 inchs from soil untrained now if you have 5 gal or more yeah might not have enough room most of those estimates are based on 5 gal and up here is a vid to show you different sizes for diff pots.
